It is the perfect place and leisurely. Walking around to see the shopping, bridges, and Ferris Wheel was so awesome! A lot of sightseeing in the downtown night!

The hotel room was clean and it had a great view of the rivers. The staff was quick and efficient checking us in. They held our luggage for us when we checked out until we were ready to leave town. Very nice, very helpful.

This location is in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh and I was able to go site seeing because of that. Staff was friendly, housekeeping did their jobs and I could not be happier. As someone that actually works at a hotel and knows how the proceedings go they did everything right, however the only thing I will say is the breakfast they had was not worth it. $18 for an omelette is a little insane and it tasted like something the average person at their house could make. I have no problem paying for an item as long as it matches the price point, this omelette tasted like it should’ve costed $9-$10 but other than that everyone was nice and helpful.

We reserved a room with two beds which cost over $800 for the night. When we checked in, we learned that our room had been given away. Instead we got a room with 1 bed and a “roll away” mattress. I’ve slept in hospital beds that were more comfortable than the roll away. It was a very hard, twin size mattress on a dirty metal frame with broken wheel. It didn’t come with a comforter or blanket, just a thin sheet. The frame was so filthy that I had to scrub black dirt and dust off my fingers after moving it I tried to contact the hotel about this several times but they never bothered to reply

The room smelled and was very worn down. Definitely not worth $410 per night. Not even close. A total renovation has to be done. Tgeroom hasn't been upgraded since the 80’s.

Great place to stay in Pittsburgh.
We got an awesome room with a great view of the city. The hotel is right near Gateway Center and Fifth Avenue place - very beautiful with tons of restaurants and shopping in close walking distance. It was so wonderful. Staff was great! We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again! A little on the expensive side but worth it. They also gave me a military discount.
