Love La pasion

Great location. Near the beach, 5th ave, Ado bus drop off or departure, Walmart!! And, lots of inexpensive local taco stands or restaurants. Dona Paula’s for Pozole, honestly it’s like your mom is cooking…great soup and inexpensive, large with trimmings…& $110 peso…. Soooooo good. Love the hotel front desk staff, warm, welcoming and just really nice. This is a very comfortable, typical mexican, older place, to stay.

Rustic charm! Loved the big soaking tub. Loved the location. Walked there from the ferry. Far enough 5th Ave that it was quiet, yet close enough. Not many amenities in the room like drinking glasses and wash clothes.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely gardens and pools. We slept well in comfortable bed and enjoyed hot breakfast to order in the adjacent restaurant. There was no beverage service at the bar and elevators weren't operating. Otherwise would be 5*

Little oasis in the heart of downtown. Very conveniently located as we were able to walk everywhere. Conrad was very helpful and we had a wonderful stay in Playa. We will return!

Good for the price we paid. The beach is at like 8 min by walk. The breakfast was perfect. The pools were nice. Only complaint is the water of the spa that was very cloudy and it was very noisy until like 1 am. I think there was a show outside and we heard the music very clearly.

Location is the best. I enjoyed the local restaurants and walk to the beach. The wkly night market was just across the street. Pls improve your wifi so that we can access good consistent wifi, especially in the rooms. Pls also fix your elevator for those who require help lugging large suitcases (not in my case this time).

Best bang for your buck

Short walk to the action and many great restaurants in the area. Quiet, AC worked great, clean, beds were comfortable and Conrad and staff were super helpful. Water pressure is great and water is actually hot. Only con is that there are alot of stairs to get to room and rooftop pool. Would recommend to anyone that needs a basic quiet stay.

Luv La Pasion

I have been coming here on and off for 15 years. Yes, many services have changed from what they used to offer, however, the staff has always been terrific and a pleasure to deal with and they are one of the main reasons I keep going back. The location is fabulous, 2 min walk from 5th ave, clubs or bars with live music or from local cheap, tasty restaurants, one of my favourites, El Fogon for tacos El Pastor. Dona Paula’s for her pozole soup, omg…so good! There is also a new taco place El Nero right beside the hotel. I did not try it but it was busy every night and really….so convenient. This place is simple, down to earth, cute balcony’s pool side to contemplate life, overlooking to small pools with overgrown vegetation…. I mean luv it , and an adorable house cat that picks her own pool side chair, depending on her mood…. Depending on the room you get, sometimes the water in the shower is “cool” as opposed to hot. I’ve been a single traveller my last few visits but have always felt safe staying here on my own. This is one of my favourite hotels.
