Initially we thought the cleanliness could have used a little work due to some stains on the bedding. Hotel was quick to switch out. Buffet was incredible. Staff was fantastic. Entertainment team were terrific. All the food, drink, and amenities were perfect for a nice getaway.

I had a great stay at Plantinum Princess. The staff were always kind and helpful. The food from the buffet was also good. They had a variety of options to choose from. Although, their snack menu is limited. For dinner, I very much enjoyed Amora and Skylight (extra charge). If you go to Skylight, I recommend the grilled scallops and rack of lamb. So so delicious! Hats off to the female chef there! I also ate at La Bruschetta. The service was terrible and the food wasnā€™t great. It took 15-20 minutes to get a glass of water. I had to flag someone down to even get service. I ordered my cocktail (lychee or lemon drop) and appetizers. They brought out an espresso martini 30 minutes later. I told him thatā€™s not what I ordered. Came back another 20 minutes later without a new drink only to tell me they donā€™t have items for either drink. At that point, I was annoyed and just told him Iā€™ll keep the espresso which I barely drank. The mushroom soup was definitely from the bottom of the bowl because there were clumps (it wasnā€™t mushrooms) in my soup. The frutti di mare risotto was under cooked. I genuinely thought I chipped a tooth with one of the pieces. Thankfully, I didnā€™t. It did have great flavor which made up for it. The seafood in the risotto wasnā€™t cleaned well as I also ate some sand. I left very disappointed! I would definitely go back to the resort. I wish they had more fun pool activities or parties on the adult side especially during the day!

Construction in and around the building #4 all night and day. Jack hammering concrete, remodeling, etc... Locked in a bathroom because door handle needed replacement. Key card did not work, multiple trips to lobby to fix!

My husband and I just got back from vacation with a group of our friends. We had the best time. I want to start by saying that we havenā€™t been on many all-inclusive vacations so donā€™t have a ton of experience to compare other vacations to. The adults only was amazing though the drinking vibe might be higher. Iā€™m not sure I could go to a family now. The food was great-we enjoyed sometime at each restaurant. Loved not having to make reservations. We liked the buffet even and found something every day. My husband loved the steak at Rodeo Grill and I really enjoyed the Japanese show (you need to show up at 530 to book a time for that.) We enjoyed yoga, Pilates, paddle boarding. The beach is beautiful though a little bit rocky. Only my husband went in more than once. The sunrise was gorgeous!! The pools were great and we moved around during the day depending on sunlight and activities. The staff was nice. The entertainment was great. Weather was great. The drinks were delicious. Get the mango mojito! I felt the place was really clean though once in a while getting towels to your room was an extra step. The place is walkable. I heard people complaining was too big and people complaining it was too small. I felt it was the perfect size. We ventured off the resort to a cenote and loved it. We took the public transit because the cabs were insanely priced. We also to the hotel transit to Playa Del Carmen for $5pp. It was nice to walk around but touristy $ :) Try the beach wings!

In our room our sink broke, and we had issues with properly closing the tap. The coffee maker was not cleaned and we had issues with our requests of pool/beach towels not being answered. Other than those things, the food was good, entertaining was lively, staff was for the most part excellent, and the area around the property was well maintained. We wish there were more beach chairs or a reservation cap as my partner and I walked several times across the beach to the sister hotel and back without finding a spot but there were many chairs unattended with belongings and no owners in sight. Room service was great, drinks were great, and the bartenders had good rapport with their guests. I wish Yucatan PLATINUM also tacos at its beach food bar.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The food was delicious and had options for anybody and everybody. The staff was all so friendly and helpful, with a few standout members who really made us feel cared for. I liked the size of the resort, large enough to have options, but small enough it didnā€™t take us long to get from one side to the other, and a really good mix of quiet relaxation, or activities and some party if you wanted that instead. The beach doesnā€™t have great swimming unless you walk down to the family resort that you also get access to, but lots of chairs and umbrellas it wasnā€™t an issue at all for us. About 45 minutes from Cancun airport, and we would recommend and go back, it was a perfect vacation!

The property is not too small and not too big. Itā€™s the perfect size to walk around comfortably. The outdoor areas are nice and green with a clean look. The cleanliness is excellent throughout the entire place. The restaurants are accesible. The food is good and thereā€™s a lot of options for a la Carte. The staff is AWESOME ! You have access to three next door hotels as well. This hotel is totally is excellent. I would totally recommend it.
