It’s different in the aspect that there’s not a lot to do on the actual resort compared to others.you don’t have to wait for ANYTHING, and it’s a very personal experience. Still all of the normal things, like pool, and game room. I think the game room should be updated a bit for rainy days especially. The staff is very friendly, and they treat you like family. I recommend this place if your wanting a quiet stay.

Nasty! Let me just say the staff there were very friendly. Check in was easy and fast. We were greeted and given our room keys which are wrist bands. We were supposed to get welcome drinks but if you come past 3pm, you’re out of luck because that’s the cut off time for the drinks. The property itself was VERY underwhelming. The property sits wayyyy back. There’s a long bumpy, pot-hole filled road that leads you back there. Upon entering the room, you’re hit with a STRONG older of mold. It smelled like an old basement but times 10. And that was the “upgrade”. We asked to be moved into another room because the smell was so strong. Well the new room smelled the same. The room was very spacious but dirty and run down. The room was dusty, there was an old dead moth that was stuck to the tub, a cockroach in the closet on the floor, the coffee pot still had coffee in it that contained mold, even in the coffee filter. The outside pools and hot tubs were run down and nasty. There was algae growing in one of the outside showers. As far as the restaurant, drinks were good but the food was not. Ordered a shrimp appetizer and they only bring out two shrimps lol. I thought it was a joke. Tacos were bare minimum. We even went to the store to buy cleaning products and incense thinking we could get rid of the smell. But that didn’t work. We ended up leaving the hotel because it was horrible and went and stayed at another hotel closer to the airport.

This hotel is not what was advertised on expedia. Driving down the road to the hotel felt very unsafe, desolate and gave an uneasy feeling. The hotel itself looked to be under repair and the front desk looked like someones home setup. Staff was minimal so service was horrible. Had one restaurant that had very limiting food options in the menu. Restaurant itself was leaking water everywhere from the ceiling. The room had mold all over the doors, curtains were rusted and broken. Lamps didnt work. The ac unit in the room was leaking water to the floor towards the bed. The pictures made it look like the property had beach right in front but you actually have to walk away from property to get it. Ended up leaving same day because of all these conditions and finding a better place with so much more for almost same price. Strongly do not recommend this place as i felt completely deceived as a customer.

The resort barely qualifies as a resort. The rooms were cold and damp throughout the entire stay, with no hot water available in any of them. To make things worse, the water coming out of the sinks was rusty and brown. We had to change rooms several times during our week-long stay due to these issues. The poolside bar, which only stays open until 5 pm, served just one type of beer that tasted watered down. The location is isolated, surrounded by jungle, and a car is essential to get anywhere. That said, the staff were fantastic, with Hernán standing out for his exceptional service. The food was surprisingly good, with beautiful, fine dining presentation that added a positive touch to an otherwise disappointing experience.

Skip this one for anywhere else.
Door to balcony was broken and wouldn't close so hot air blew in all the time. TV went out for 3 of the 4 days we were there. Not a big problem but nice to watch after a long day at the beach. The food was sub par at best. Asked for toilet paper and 5 hours later and after housekeeping cleaned the room, still none. They say they have two restaurants but they really have one and a snack bar by the pool. Avoid everything at the snack bar but the drinks, shrimp cocktail and the cheese burger. Indoor hot tub didn't have the jets working even though we were told to just push the button for the jets. Both lamps were broken and all the mirrors except one were chipped badly. Nine mirrors total and only one in good shape. Door to the fridge didn't work. Door for kitchen storage was also broken. No cooking pans, plates or silverware. Mold on the ceiling. Terrible cover up paint jobs in kitchen, hall way and the living/bedroom. The tub in the balcony was nice but has to be turned on by and drained by a staff member. Of the 6 meals we had at the restaurant, not one appetizer, soup, salad, entre or dessert was edible past one small bit. We left hungry although you can order everything and multiple times but I'm not sure why anyone would. A hot dog a 7-11 would have blown away anything at the restaurant. The food looked good and the service was good. The chicken picatta tasted nothing like piccata and the chicken. Was as hard as a rock and dry as a bone.

It’s not an all inclusive in the real sense. In fact this place does not have a proper restaurant with a menu. We have to do with whatever is provided. There are no lights in the corridors and have zero customer service. The 5 star rating is absolutely not correct, should be a two star at the best.

This is the best place to relax the workers there were amazing front check in Cristian, housekeeping, the maintenance guy Ismael, Down stairs bar by the pool Geraldo the drinks were delicious his series are excellent. And the rooftop dinner time was very good the bartenders Christian &,Freddy were very good and the waiters Hernan and Israe very nice people . I would go back anytime this is a very beautiful place if you're going to relax that's exactly what you going to get.

Staff is amazing. I didn’t give 5 stars only because there was no way to get sun lotion, drinks, anything without leaving the resort. They have a vending machine but it only takes coins. Does not take credit cards. No store to purchase anything. But next time I will Be prepared with what we need before we get there. Yes we will return. That is how wonderful the staff is and how relaxing this resort is. Only one pool but only 38 rooms and adult only. No crowds. Food was great. I really did enjoy my stay.
