Very convenient for shopping, room ok, bit dusty in places, but comfortable bed. Finding the car park was a nightmare, but once parked, it was comforting knowing the car was secure, and , for Plymouth reasonable fee. There were a lot of stairs to get from car park and in and out of entrances, my friend is not very mobile, found it a bit of a challenge. There are a lot of building works going on round the hotel, so at present surroundings aren't wonderful. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel!
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped hotel close to centre of Plymouth. Excellent staff and service with a particular shout out to Mairita who runs the best breakfast buffet we have seen in a very long time. Will go back just to see her in action again! Thanks for a very enjoyable two night stay!!

Nice staff but terrible standards.
I want to start by saying the front desk staff were lovely, even when everyone was asking them a million questions about the fire alarm going off at 10pm, but unfortunately the cleanliness let it down. The bathroom had mould and rust in it, the shower made a high pitched screaming when used, and the mirror had cracks in it. Just to add to the experience, the lift display on my floor also didn't work. The underground private parking is also a nightmare to find and I was driving around for ages trying to work out how to reach the entrance for it.

Suited my needs, simple and good value while on business trip. Lucky enough to squeeze in to small car park before it filled up. Decor is a little dated, but the place was very clean, and the heating and hot water worked well.

Information regarding the parking was very confusing. It was understood that there was limited parking on a first come first served basis. So when we arrived in the dark after a long ferry crossing, we didn’t then expect to be redirected all the around the town to get to an underground car park. Which was adequate but the whole experience was very confusing.

The Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. THe rooms are being refurbished, although we asked to see a refurbished one and could not see any real difference. Our room did not have electrical sockets near the bed to charge phones and only one USB port for charging. The room is showing it's age. We found it quite dusty and my wife's allergies flared up as a result. For us it was well located but we will not use it again due to the dust and allergy issue.

Booked a connosoir room Turned out to be identical to a standard room [my daughter was in this] We just had soft drinks and dressing gowns as extras in the room Fridge had to be turned off as it was too noisy overnight Shower head did not match riser rail and holder so has to be handheld: hose was so soft it kept interrupting the water supply. Tea and coffee provided - no milk Fetched this from reception on morning 1, requested room replenishment using door tag system - still no milk for morning 2 Having stayed here in May we were hugely disappointed with the drop in standards Will not book again

Very friendly welcome and helpful at reception. Had a free drink in the bar… server was abrupt and not knowledgeable about what she was selling. Breakfast good and there was a lovely helpful lady serving, nothing was too much of a problem. Hotel could do with a refresh but ok for one night.
