Not impressed
I booked this property for Thanksgiving with my three children, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We didn’t receive any check-in information and had to contact Vrbo to reach the unresponsive owners. When we arrived, the front door was wide open, and the house was freezing, which was especially tough as I was feeling unwell.
After some troubleshooting, we discovered a power outage had shut off the HVAC system. While the owners were quick to address the issue, the house took all night to warm up, leaving us uncomfortably cold. My daughter also found hair in her bed, which was unsettling.
We paid a premium for amenities like a hot tub, but it was green, unclean, and left us with a rash, making it unusable. For the price we paid, we expected a premium experience, but this fell far short. Next time, I’ll likely choose a high-end hotel for a better experience at a lower cost.
