Nice visit to the Kingston Area
We came for the NY Sheep & Wool Festival. This was a great location, close to Rhinebeck and close to nice restaurants. Theresa was a great host, and provided us with some appreciated provisions and freshly baked muffins. The unit is spacious and clean!

Outstanding!
This property is wonderful: clean, neat, spacious, homey, and with everything we needed or wanted. I can't say enough about the host/owner, Theresa. She is truly a gem: friendly, kind, thoughtful, funny, caring...just lovely. She baked fresh muffins for us each morning; she put a Brita pitcher of water in the mini-fridge, plus milk, half-and-half, and orange juice; she put out a bowl of fresh fruit. When we knew we would be returning late one evening, she made sure the outside light by our entrance was on. It was so many little, kind things that truly touched our hearts. THANK YOU, Theresa; we can't wait to return!

Wonderful
Hostess Was great. We had plenty of room to sleep a couple and an extra relative. We were able to wash our clothes, relax on couches with recliners in the evenings, enjoy coffee on the patio and one of the best things is that our owner provided us with a different flavor of muffin each morning. She also provided coffee, juice, milk, half & half, plus a bowl of fresh fruit. This VRBO is the place to stay when visiting the Kingston area.

An old fashioned BnB! ( in a good way)
Staying at this property reminded me of the way BnB's used to be: Sharing a home with a lovely host, a breakfast (including home made muffins) as well as a very nice, spacious, comfortable, well maintained well stocked space. We enjoyed our weekend at Theresa's place.

Spacious, comfortable, super clean and very private! Theresa couldn’t have been more accommodating, including setting up the tvs so we could watch a special game. And, of course , her amazing muffins! A perfect spot for our trip to see our granddaughter graduate from Bard College.

Spacious and cozy rental. Very clean with many special touches!
Rental was just as described. Hostess was very helpful with suggestions on must see attractions and restaurants in the area. We were provided a refrigerator full of beverages as well as an assortment of fresh fruit. Each morning we received fresh baked muffins that were absolutely delicious! The Vanderbilt Mansion and the home of President Franklin Roosevelt were a scenic 30 minute drive away. We would highly recommend this rental.

Lovely house and adorable puppies!!
Theresa was the most welcoming and accommodating host. She was very sweet and made us feel at home. The home made muffins were such a sweet though and were so delicious. Great location close to some fun breweries and restaurants. My husband and I went for a kid free weekend and so glad we did. Honey and Buddy helped me with my puppy withdrawal since I was missing my big girl. They were so sweet and came to love us up a few times ❤️

A fantastic stay
First off...all the reviews you have read completely accurate. The space is big & homey. Gas fireplace, comfy furniture and queen size bed. Parking is hassle free. With the private entrance to the lower apartment, we were able to come and go, at times returning late in the evening, without feeling as if we were disturbing anyone. The host, Theresa, is absolutely the best. She's made the space so welcoming. She's thought of just about everything and made it available to make the stay enjoyable, worry free, and comfortable. Everything that is said about the muffins is TRUE! Tasty, warm and received daily. We have family in the area excited to be able to have the opportunity to stay at this property again when we visit.

Beyond the muffins
Once you stay here, you will understand what I mean. The muffins Theresa makes are out of this world. What's more, the suite truly is private, spacious, peaceful and cozy. We also found it incredibly clean and neat. We didn't need for anything and the little extra touches are wonderful. Most importantly, Theresa is the most gracious host, considerate and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property, if you are also planning to stay in the area.

Nice place to stay for Omega
We had a very pleasant stay in the property during a visit to Omega Institute. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive there. Everything was nice and clean. One night we were able to sit at the table outside which was pleasant. And many thanks for the fresh hot muffins that made our day.

Absolutely Perfect in Every Way
The property was just what we needed and perfect in many ways: from the welcoming fresh fruit basket, to the well-filled Keurig, to the refrigerated orange juice and creamer as well as a filtered water pitcher with verbal promise of hot, freshly baked muffins in the morning. We had the wonderful first night's sleep - the bed and pillows were exceptional! Next morning sure enough - homemade zucchini and chocolate chip muffins were waiting for us on the patio table so as not to disturb us. The next day came banana/nut muffins and the piece de resistance (for us anyway) were the blueberry muffins topped with a brown sugar crust. It was just what we needed to start our busy days off meeting family for lunch and dinners during my sister's funeral. At the end of the day, we looked forward to returning to our oasis in Port Ewen and discussing the daily events while on the private patio overlooking a peaceful, well-maintained yard. We really never wanted for anything - the separate large living room and spacious bedroom, two large closets, the mini-kitchen (small fridge and microwave) equipped with silverware and dishes, separate bath with large shower, wall ironing board (a godsend!) and washer/dryer for our usage. We needed for nothing and I must say, available for a very reasonable price. Everything in the Hudson Valley (my hometown) is in tourist mode prices for the summer but the Salem Street Suite did not take advantage of its guests in that way. I cannot close without saying a few words about Theresa, the owner who made all this possible. When she found out that our planned visit to a sibling in a nursing home became a funeral situation, she went out of her way to extend her hand in sympathy and friendship. She was so caring and solicitious that I felt we arrived as guests and departed as friends. I would heartily recommended Salem Street Suite to anyone who wanted to stay in a well-cared for, spacious place that felt like home with the added bonus of having Theresa to look after you!

Wonderful, clean, spacious and great host
I had the pleasure of staying for two nights at this very clean, private VRBO in Port Ewen. I travel a lot and am used to places that may not look as good as the pictures. I am very pleased to report that this VRBO lives up to the pictures. In addition, Theresa is a charming, well informed, pleasant host, and Buddy (the dog) is a big love bug who just as much enjoys lying on his back with his feet in the air and the sun on his belly as he does getting pats and scratches. Every morning, Theresa would put a few muffins out for my breakfast on the table outside the door. The second morning the muffins were still warm, right out of the oven!! I am sorry to report that they didn’t last long enough for me to share them with the people I was meeting with, and boy were they tasty! The apartment is clean and well-stocked with supplies, including fresh fruit and coffee (Keurig). There are large private bedroom, a larger living room, bath, and shower. I could not have asked or a nicer place to spend quiet evenings preparing for two days of meetings. I would be glad to stay there again and hope to when I return to the Port Ewen / Kingston area.
