The hotel needs better management. The beds were so hard. There was only electricity at night, it cut off at 6 a.m. forcing you to wake up at that time because the room gets hot and mosquitos take over. The room was not worth what they charge.
Had I known that there wouldn't be any electricity until 7pm and no tv I would've never stayed there. The beds were hard the comforter wasn't clean. Once the electricity came on it kept going in and out all night long. There wasn't any hot water so if you enjoy cold showers this place is just for you. The outside looks abandoned. The only good thing was it was on the beach.
Great location. Port Salut Beach is just minutes away. The room was nice - hot water, electric as advertised, spacious bathroom, great restaurant. The hotel should install a pool - that would make the place perfect.
We had a very nice stay. This was our first time back since Hurricane Matthew and the beach is not as nice as it was before Hurricane Matthew. There is not as much shade and the fallen trees need to be cleaned up but it's still a nice quiet place to relax. There are some maintenance issues that need addressed in some of the rooms at the hotel but overall a very nice stay. The restaurant gets 5 stars in my opinion, the food is very good and generous portions. We enjoyed our stay
Super friendly and accommodating staff. The food is also great. Wifi worked super fast the first day but a bit slow the second. We had a great time and will go back.
Ok except I didn't get the room requested I also think think breakfast should be included

Nice hotel, limited air conditioning
Big room, but electricity was unstable. Air conditioning came on at 1800 in the evening. Before that the room was humid and HOT. Although the electricity was available all night, the air conditioner stopped twice each night. Had to be manually started again. Annoying.. The restaurant in connection to the hotel served very good food. Lots of it as well. Experienced "hotel diarrhea" both me and my colleague, so maybe there was something with the food. This is not stopping me from another visit though. Nice employees and management and polite and pleasant staff at the restaurant made me feel welcome there. Nice stay.
There are two type of rooms: the older and the newer. We stayed in one older room and it was enough for sleeping, having a shower and watching TV. There is air conditioning and WIFI available in the room. Electricity is available since 17:00 to 08:00 because there is problem with EDH, but it is enough to have room services available during evening and night.
The restaurant is very good. Food is fresh. Although you can eat traditional haitian food, presentation is much better and there are other many plates to choose. We were thinking about eating only once and finally we ate every day.
The hotel is placed in front of the beach and you must only cross a street to be on it.
To arrive the hotel it is necessary to pay for the car to enter in the beach zone.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Auberge du Rayon Vert! We had stayed at Dan's Creek several times over the past several years but after being dissatisfied with our last stay we decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! It was fantastic! The service was excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were comfy and clean! The food was delicious and the servers did their best to make the dining experience a pleasant one! The food is way better than at Dan's Creek and the choice of gourmet French dishes is amazing! The other thing that is so awesome is the wonderful beach right across from the hotel! Port Salute is a beautiful town and I love the activities the area offers. With this lovely hotel to come to...I'm sure we'll be back!!
