We read some negative reviews and almost didn't book this property, but it worked really well for us. The room was clean and quiet. As with many locations now, there is no person at the check-in desk. But we were able to get our key and had a good night here.

This inn was close to a few tourist places we wanted to explore (Bonavista. Elliston and the Skerwink trail). The diningroom was lovely for a delicious dinner and breakfast before we headed out for the day. Great staff too!

We didnt have any running water. Room was clean and spacious however unable to shower or flush toilet due to no water, and no one on the front desk to speak to.

Pubic hairs on the tub & sink when we entered. Water was light brown & had an odor. Restaurant is closed but not advertised that way . I had to use bottled water to brush my teeth & I did not use the water to even wash my hands. No WiFi either.

We arrived to find the restaurant closed for the season. This was a disappointment. The room was average. Nice linens on the bed. The hot water to the sink was nonexistent and the shower didn’t work past a trickle. This made our stay less than stellar.

Absolute check-in time was 4PM on a rainy, windy day with no distractions nearby to pass the time. In fact, the desk was not manned until 4PM that we could see. There was significant noise from adjacent room(s) even though staff attempted to appease our requests. This is an older property with some older furnishings in some of the room. Unsure if the discoloration of the water was due to the pipes in the building or if it was in the water system of the area. The restaurant was closed for the season and that was a disappointment.

Upon arrival the hotel is very cute. This hotel needs to be updated and cleaned. There were a lot of fruit flies in our room. The shower had no pressure. On the bright side the attached restaurant was very good.

The walls are very thin and we had a baby crying next to us for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. That’s not the hotels fault of course but walls could use some noise barriers. Very cute, clean room and lovely new soaker tub/shower.

What a hidden treasure! I highly recommend it. The property is well kept with comfortable beds, friendly staff and a great little restaurant. You can't beat the price for all that!
