This was a wonderful spot to stay before we flew out of town! The staff was incredibly friendly and on top of it. We were able to conveintly park our car, on the property, for the duration of our out of state vacation! The area where we were able to park felt safe. If youre tmstaying here because you want to stay/park/fly then i jighly recommend it! The rooms are incredibley quiet, the beds are comy, everything is clean, and overall, i am absolutely pleased! 10/10 :)

Maintenance dept not available on weekends
Appears maintenance people and the manager aren’t available on weekends. We stayed 2 nights Fri/Sat. First night fridge started making intermittent loud noises around 11:30 pm. Couldn’t reach plug to unplug it. We were told if we could move ourselves to another room we could have a king room for no extra charge which we did. The 2nd night a loud exhaust fan ran continuously all night in the king room. Comfortable bed and furnishings, but got no restful sleep both nights because of the noise. We were told they were sorry but no maintenance people were available until Monday and no compensation was available for people who used a 3rd party for reservations. The second night we reserved the larger room through Candlewood instead of a 3rd party. We thought if we called the front desk again that night they would just ask us to move again which we had no energy to do. We reported the problem when we checked out and were told maintenance would look into it on Monday. I called on Monday and was told the reason the exhaust fan was running non stop was because a timer was broken and they were sorry but no other compensation was available because we didn’t report the problem until checkout. The rooms are nicely updated, but we were not happy with the problems we experienced. I thought dog fee was a bit high. ($40 per night)

Nice, newly remodeled property in a convenient location. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. We would definitely recommend Candlewood Suites by the Portland airport. This is a far better option than the La Quinta across the street.

The hide a bed was gross and dirty… the cushions were ripped and the foam part was sticking out when I went to make the bed up for our son. The property was not very clean like other locations we have stayed at. Very dissatisfied for the price!!

Perfect experience super close to the airport but didn’t hear a sound, excellent staff, room was clean and setup nicely, shopping and dining 1/2 mile away, all around very pleased!!
