great location, very close to Washington Park, Rose Garden, Japanese garden and Zoo. close to downtown but not that close so it's very safe in the neighborhood. the hotel itself is outdated but very clean. with the price I think it's a decent place to stay.

The first thing i noticed when i opened the door to our room was how clean it smelled. I liked how they left us slippers to wear because the floor was wood-laminate (much preferred to carpet). And even though it was an older hotel everything worked properly, i.e. plumbing, electric, tv. The location of the hotel was great. Only a 15-20 minute walk from downtown, depending on where you want to go. Close enough to get to the restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., but far enough to not be in the middle of the chaos that came out at night. There is an awesome pizza place around the corner, (Pizza Kat), so good we ate there twice. Parking was not an issue, but because everything was so close, we just parked for two days straight. We will definitely stay here again, the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean and the location was great!

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Park Lane Suites and Inn is located in a wonderful walkable neighborhood (steep walking so I caution those with mobility challenges). Washington Park is a beautiful city park up the hill from the Inn and has lots to see and enjoy (nature and exhibit's like the international rose garden). Within Washington Park is the Japanese garden (entrance fee) and nearby is the zoo (didn't visit). Check in was a breeze and warmly welcomed by Mar at the front desk. Mar was so helpful, she took the time to explain directions and offer guidance on the local parks. The lobby is 24/7 with water, coffee, tea and apples. Morning has cookies that I will assume go quickly. The property has the main building and an annexed building across the street. All are exterior entrances. We opted for a 1st floor unit as there is no elevator. Well equipped and clean rooms. Will definitely return for a visit. Thank you Mar!

The suite were very nice, much more spacious than expected. It was very clean, had everything needed for comfort. Check in was easy. The hotel is close to Washington Park and not too far from downtown.

The location is amazing if you need to be in downtown Portland, Nob Hill is 5 minutes walk away. Hotel was a bit noisy it seems like there is not much sou d insulation between rooms.

There was plenty parking spaces at the hotel whereas downtown Portland parking is near impossible so the hotel being within walking distance is a big plus. The room was very clean with two exceptions: vent on the AC unit and floors were very dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful. We felt safe in the neighborhood but wouldn’t advise walking downtown at night.

I absolutely love the central location, the fact that there’s no scented products used, the soaps, etc are so nice & organic, staff are wonderful. I love that there’s no carpet so the room feels truly clean. Challenges: could hear people walking loudly above me- if ur sensitive to noise, request a top floor room. Also it’s more of a motel than I expected but I may not have done all the reading before booking. Turns out I kind of liked that aspect as it feels like more fresh air is accessible than in a hotel. Bed was comfy but did have slight springy sound. Would stay here again though, overall great vibe.
