Everything was just fine. Beautiful hotel accommodating staff. I must say I expected a little extra extra staying at the Benson. Which I didn't really feel. Beautifully decorated for Christmas which is what I was looking for. Accommodating a dog was a lovely option, but you don't get anything for the $40 charge and there's literally nowhere for the dog to go to the bathroom within a three block radius. I felt unsafe going out in the morning. I was able to get a dog bowl by calling housekeeping. Being able to be served drinks and snacks in the lobby with my dog was the best perk. The Benson is a classic, I've done it once but I'm not sure if I would come back here or try looking for that extra extra place.

Staff were excellent! Nathaniel, Director of food service, was so much fun and so customer focused! He was helping out everywhere! The manager at the front desk was also great but I didn't get his name. Really- all staff were excellent. They seem to really enjoy their work! Beautiful historic hotel.

The building/hotel was beautiful inside, with rich walnut wood and beautiful crystal chandeliers! They have held on to the historic architectural beauty while maintaining cleanliness and comfort!
