Luis, Phillips, and Luisa made our tip outstanding. They have every detail attended to, they are gracious, informative, kind and fun. This was a Rick Steve’s recommendation and was more than great. Phillipe was WONDERFUL at check in .. and Louise was also very helpful and accommodating. They were so helpful assisting me with my Uber rides. Also, I asked for an extra pillow and received 5 fluffy comfortable pillows! They were able to pack my delicious breakfast to go! Thank you!! The view was AMAZING! The air conditioning was AWESOME. The bed was comfortable and the TV channels had many options and languages available. I highly recommend this clean and comfortable and friendly establishment.

Luis and Luisa are fabulous!! I read reviews about both of them and all is true and it was great to meet them both! They are wonderful and if I find myself back in Porto I would stay here again. Small hotel and small room but very comfortable and we spent most of our time out and about. The breakfast was wonderful

This is a wonderful property with very friendly staff. They have about eight rooms so the service is very personal. The breakfast was an unexpected surprise with lots of fresh fruits would definitely stay here again as it is very close to lots of restaurants and tourist attractions.

This was the cutest little boutique hotel. The rooms are small but clean. The building is designated as a historic building. The service by the front desk staff Luis during the day and Phillip in the evening was over the top good. The breakfast was amazing. We loved our time there. There are so many restaurants within walking distance and many shops. You can walk across the bridge to the other side of the river and do port and wine tastings if you like. You can go up the hill and see the tile churches And many other historic buildings.

What a beautiful gem in the historic district on the river. The staff was top notch, especially Luis and Phillip. Everything including the delicious breakfast was exceptional. I would highly recommend the Guest House Douro.
