This is a very nice hotel with great amenities, the only problem was the parking - we didn’t know it was across the street from the hotel. The street in front of the hotel is a one-way and is incredibly busy during rush hour, so we had to circle a couple of times before getting parked. We walked back from downtown in the evening and the area felt safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was great—clean, comfortable, and with really comfy beds. The staff were friendly enough, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the metro, buses, and free parking. The one major downside was the restaurant. The bright lighting gave it more of a canteen feel rather than a proper restaurant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The mashed potatoes were chewy and tasteless, the beef cheeks were tough, and even the Francesinha, a signature Portuguese dish, was dry despite the sauce. Of course, that’s just our opinion, but we wouldn’t recommend dining there. Overall, the hotel was a solid choice for a stay in Porto—just better to eat elsewhere.

This was a five star hotel for customer service at an extremely reasonable rate. Picked up at the airport in a Tesla, lovely reception upon arrival, fruit and cookies in room and nothing too much for the friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with a terrace, very clean and only a few minutes walk to the metro to get downtown. Top service, well done and thank you for being so welcoming. Origado!

The Hotel Jaguar staff are the icing on the cake. All of the front desk, bar, dining, shuttle and housekeeping staff were friendly, kind and very helpful to make our first visit to Porto special. Our room had everything we needed and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. We highly recommend Hotel Jaguar and will return to with our next Porto adventure!❤️

An amazing residence for holiday in Porto
The staff are tremendously helpful and they literally try their best to provide a warm service to their guests. The location is close to the airport with walking distance to the main tourist attractions. Hotel facilities are modern and room decorations are simple but elegant. Moreover, the hotel also offer shuttle service to the airport and for the city tour. It would be a wonderful place to stay in Porto.

This quirky little hotel was super convenient. I came in late and they got me checked in and personally took me to my room. I also really appreciated their quick and detailed response to my question on how to get from the train station to the hotel via metro. I had no problems finding the hotel. Language wasn’t a problem during the email or check-in. Also it is in a very quiet neighborhood and except for when people were going to their room, extremely quiet.

Staff were excellent in every way. They were helpful and always courteous. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We also had dinner there one night and it was very good. I would stay here again. It’s about 25 minutes to the center but it was a pleasant walk.

This property is a great stay if you need a ride to or from the airport, at some point. They provide you with a welcome drink, fruit and a very clean room. It is very close to a subway station that will get you to the Trinidad stop where the airport metro is, if your transportation needs are outside of their shuttle hours. The fridge in your room has additional drinks for you to buy, I did not realize there was an open water on the desk in the room and was charged for it, but it was little matter as the facilities were so nice.
