We stayed at the Almanac in Barcelona and decided to stay at Almanac in Prague as well. This Almanac is even better! Lobby is big and all staff are super nice. Their concierge is very knowledgeable! We also visited the bar and the bar tender is super friendly. Only thing is that I don’t think they give you water in room daily but you are walking distance to everything in new town just nearby. Old town is a short 10-15 mins walk. We loved then location. You get everything within walking distance!

Our stay at the almanac was excellent. The room was spacious for the two of us and the balcony was an added bonus for the room type we booked. The breakfast spread was amazing and the staff were very attentive to provide a nice experience. We had a leak from the AC unit when we first arrived and within minutes of calling down they had a maintenance crew show up assess the problem and had it fixed within the hour. Any time we needed anything the staff would respond immediately. Great experience for two travellers.

Excellent hotel. Stayed here for a couple days visiting Prague. Walking distance from the old town, but still at least 15 min away. Comfortable room and bed. Small but clean and modern bathroom. The hotel has an excellent breakfast. They also have a restraunt on the first floor that served a 'plant forward menu' which was absolutely excellent... in fact it was so good I went these the second night as well with friends.

I have noticed now many many times that expedia exaggerated the rating. It cannot be a 9.6 rating nor it is a 5 star hotel. The room that we got was smaller than what was promised. Number of upgrades were available but only if you paid $175 daily. I think that VIP access is of no value
