Greatly situated and freshly renovated!

Beautiful and modern rooms. 5th floor with great view over the river was a bliss. Friendly and professional staff, except for baggage clerk, who was sleepy and rude. Breakfast buffet extensive however a little stale. Staff at breakfast indifferent and in a hurry to end their shift. Hotel is ideally situated, we walked to all places for 4 days and visited almost everything!

Early Spring Trip

Great location, great city. Just a short drive in from the airport, for a city hotel, surprisingly quiet - even with a busy road. Wonderful buffet breakfast, and great bar food for the evening, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel

Central, excellent value - go on, spoil yourself

It was our first visit to Prague, the hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful (and thankfully all spoke English) . The rooms were enormous, the bathroom well equipped, and spotless. Great views along the river to the castle. The breakfasts were excellent, with everything one could possibly need. Absolutely delighted with the hotel. It was only a 10 minute walk from the Old Town Square, and only a couple of minutes from the Jewish Quarter, shops and bars. Everybody we met in Prague was helpful and polite (try saying that about many capital cities) The only thing to watch out for is bread dumplings - a cruel joke on anyone who enjoys good food :-)

Great hotel, with great views and close to the attractions.

We went for a short break with some friends, and were really impressed with the hotel. The rooms were enormous, very clean and comfortable. We had great views of the river and the castle. There was a good choice of things for breakfast, with something for everyone. The piano bar was a relaxing place to have a final drink and chat before going up to our rooms in the evening. All the staff were very helpful and all spoke good English (which helped me - I find the Czech language impossible) You can buy day travel cards for the excellent public transport from the hotel. It is a gentle 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel to Old Town Square - I recommend the hotel.

Brilliant

Loved the location. Out of town but close enough to walk everywhere. Pleasantly surprised by size of room. Didn't have slippers or extra pillows but that was quickly sorted by staff. Staff were a credit to hotel especially Diana at reception. Not a 5 star as advertised but definitely 4 star. Could do with some paint but overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed with wife

It was a good value and a location. I have enjoyed with Spa and massage as well. It is good distance from old town and the Chalse bridge.

Enjoyable Break

We only checked in for two nights but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and can think of nothing negative to say about the experience. The staff were helpful and polite, the room clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast included excellent. We also think that our package was excellent value and we would certainly be happy to stay at The President again. All in all it added to what was a very enjoyable short visit to Prague.

Short winter break

The hotel was excellent and the location was just what we wanted. We were disappointed that there was no tea making facility in the room but on request for a kettle, one was immediately brought up to us. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Get away

Everything was great in this hotel bar the wifi in the room, also it was very hot at night in the room even with the heat off

Perfect for touring Prague.

Such a lovely hotel within walking distance of the old town. Perfect base for a trip to Prague. Breakfast was the usual European continental breakfast but there was a huge variety so something for everyone. Would 100 recommend.
