Gem of a hotel! Really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were very nicely updated and spacious. It’s an historic hotel and loved the old elevator and the feel of it being an older property but without sacrificing comfort. They were doing a few upgrades while I was there, but didn’t disturb me. The Bistro attached was so good we ate there twice and the speakeasy in the basement was very cool and had live music the night we were there. Parking in the garage next door was free. Also the woman at the front desk could not have been nicer! You couldn’t ask for a more perfect location.

Beautiful stay
Weather was beautiful and the view of the park was amazing with the leaves changing. Loved the newly remodeled rooms except for the barn door on bathroom and no bathroom fan, lacks privacy and air circulation in bathroom.

It was different and nice but supper small rooms. Your hotel room is the size of a smaller bedroom with a small bathroom. When i say small its half the size of a regular hotel room. Add in there is no mini fringe and????

Staff was great. Rooms are a bit small, noise from the bars can be heard from the rooms facing the park, even from the 3rd floor. Rooms have been updated , which is nice . Parking garage is right behind the property and has no elevator , so be prepared to drag your bags up and down stairs .
