Had a bit of a problem checking in due to a new system. But Liz on reception soon sorted it out with a very friendly and reassuring service. Will come back here again because of the friendly welcome and also a very comfortable room.

The electrics in the room were poor, the right hand side of the socket did not work, the light on the right hand side of the television began blinking and then we could not run it off, the phone was not working at all and we had to take it down to reception but were not given another, there was a child's drawing on the room wall as you walked in. The bathroom was great and very clean the bed was very clean and smelt good, but the other things let it down enormously. Having just come back form Croatia were everything in the hotel was lovely we felt very let down by the English hotel.

Excellent value hotel with parking included. Room was a bit tired and safe didn't work, but had a good night's sleep and bed comfy. Staff were superb too. I'd choose to stay here again when in Preston.

A good stay in Preston
A nice hotel in an excellent location if you are dropping one of your kids off to UCLAN. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are spacious. I enjoyed my soak in the bath and the Dove body wash and shampoo were very nice. Breakfast in the morning was a good if you enjoy a full English and the toaster, toasted the bread and a good speed and too a good colour. (unusual for most hotels the bread needs to go through twice). Only thing I noticed in room 109 was paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom, though the patch was shaped like a map of Australia so give it points for artistic impression. A soft mattress not appreciated by my wife.

Lock on door not working but staff very helpful
Our room door would not lock. And the towels in the bathroom were on the floor rather than on the rail. They did sort the lock on the door while we went out for dinner.
