Excellent value hotel with parking included. Room was a bit tired and safe didn't work, but had a good night's sleep and bed comfy. Staff were superb too. I'd choose to stay here again when in Preston.

A good stay in Preston
A nice hotel in an excellent location if you are dropping one of your kids off to UCLAN. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are spacious. I enjoyed my soak in the bath and the Dove body wash and shampoo were very nice. Breakfast in the morning was a good if you enjoy a full English and the toaster, toasted the bread and a good speed and too a good colour. (unusual for most hotels the bread needs to go through twice). Only thing I noticed in room 109 was paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom, though the patch was shaped like a map of Australia so give it points for artistic impression. A soft mattress not appreciated by my wife.

Our room door would not lock. And the towels in the bathroom were on the floor rather than on the rail. They did sort the lock on the door while we went out for dinner.

Well located hotel next to the UCLAN campus. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Quiet room with good wifi connection. One way system to get into the car park can be confusing.

Great value for money and location
We arrived at the hotel and found parking which is a bonus as the car park is small, we checked in quickly and was given a room on the first floor. The room was clean and a good size with the added bonus of a fan, ironing board and iron in the room. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is located within walking distance of the centre of preston. The all you can eat buffet breakfast was amazing as usual, with cereals, toast, pastries, hot breakfast choices, yoghurt and fruit. Will definitely be back.

We were pleasantly surprised with how satisfied we were with our stay here. Despite being in the city it was quiet overnight, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at restaurant was fine for us, nothing fussy or elaborate. Clean bathroom apart for a slight leak. All basics supplied: toiletries, hair drier but also your own iron and iron board which you would have to ask for elsewhere. Really good value and we will stay again!

The check in was completed very quickly. The staff were friendly and efficient and most welcoming. As we were on the 3rd floor we took the lift which was clean. The room was much more spacious than I had anticipated with comfy beds and a couple of easy chairs as well as a desk. There was plenty of storage. The ensuite was also large with Dove toiletries provided. Being in the city there is the sound of nearby traffic but I slept ok. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Check out was also a simple process. There is plenty of car parking.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in it and the location was very convenient to everything that was needed. The staff were friendly and courteous, the cleanliness was exceptional and the hotel was kept in very good order. We shall definitely return on our next visit.
