The toilet in our room didn’t work. The front desk gave us a plunger to use. We had to plunge over and over throughout our two night stay. We asked for a different room, but were told no. We were very disappointed.

Very old, not really updated at all. Interior of hotel is beautiful but rooms are VERY outdated and old. Fridge had a very loud humming sound…all night long. We were in a pet room so maybe they just do not upgrade those rooms. Won’t stay here again.

An okay stay
Front staff was friendly as usual and got me checked in promptly, was assigned a room on the upper floor, which ways different from my usual ground level room. Hallway and stairway leading to my room had an odour of weed smoke, unsure if any security patrols the hotel to monitor. Room was mostly clean, aside from a little grit on the floor, fairly dark until I turned on every light in the room. Bathroom shower curtain appeared to have been hung incorrectly so the curtain slid down allowing water out while showering. Bed felt very soft and worn out. When doing my final check over before checking out of the room I noticed the beds were not clean underneath and there was an open diaper under the bed I slept on. When asked how my stay was at check out I told the front desk attendant that it was okay. She asked me why okay, I mentioned how so many previous amenities were not available anymore, to which she replied “because Covid”. Not impressed, more likely ownership does not want to invest in required maintenance. At least it was an inexpensive stay.

No thanks not again.
When I first got to the room there was a funny smell. In the bathroom there was a dirty bathmat behind the door. What I thought was a spider on the floor was a wad of hair. When I went for the light breakfast in the morning the coffee machine and the pancake machine were not working. There was no bread for the toaster. The 2 types of cereal were sugar coated. They finally got the coffee machine going and it broke down again.

We stayed for one night on our way to go hunting. The layout of the hotel is weird with these gardens in the center of the hotel. The restaurant was not busy and we did'nt eat at the restaurant. The service was ok and they staff were nice. Rooms were average.

I will never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone!! Run down! No one speaks English or French. Couldn’t even order food at restaurant because no one understands English. Used expedited online check in but got to front desk and had to check in again but with someone who could not speak English. DONT STAY HERE

Ok stay. Breakfast closed at 9am. Would be nice if it was open until at least 10am. Breakfast coffee machine was out of order for a while both mornings. Nails sticking out of steam room inside door handle. Room was basic but clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. A good deal for the price.
