Downtown Property
Nice property for 4 adults in a very convenient location. The downtown area and RISD campus are within walking distance, along with restaurants and shops. Be aware (for those with mobility issues) that there are stairs into and within the apartment. The two bathrooms are accommodating and the kitchen has basic necessities. Street parking is allowed, but only during certain hours - we had to move our vehicle at 8:00 am to a spot a few blocks away. A few minor complains....no lights on the front entry/porch outside, broken lock/latch on the front window and no welcome package explaining the check-out process or giving any information about the surrounding area (seems that most properties include this helpful type of guidance).

Great location
The location is great, close to Brown and downtown. The a/c didn't work when we got there during a heat wave. The management company was great and brought portable a/c units to help. Parking is difficult, they have restrictions during the work week. I didn't see or get any tickets. The window locks didn't work in a few windows. The kitchen is small and functional, but lacks basics. Just a few pans and pots some missing/broken lids. I had to buy a good knife and cutting board. The main room has a comfy bed, but the room is very bright at night. You will need eye covers after 5am to sleep. Basement room (converted storage?) is dark and has a very strong humidity odor, even with a humidifier running 24/7. It will be hard for anybody with a sensitive sense of smell to relax there. The ceiling insulation is thin, you can hear the upstairs people walking as soon as they start their day. Thanks to Scott in the management company for helping with all the issues we had with the a/c not working!

Beautiful Historic Flat
This home was lovely from the decor to amenities to the support of the property management. The bed was comfortable and with the blackout shades, we slept great. We had a weather related incident and the property management sent someone immediately and resolved it for us. The location was outstanding - we were close to everything we needed but found we never felt like we needed to leave. The only drawback is there is no overnight parking. There are both interior and access stairs which would be challenging if guests have mobility issues but for us, it was perfect. I hope when we come back in 2 years, we can stay here again.

Historic & Walkable
This apartment is very spacious and beautiful. The location couldn't be better. The apartment is truly historic, we got souvenirs from the Athenaenum that have this row of apartments pictured on it (along with other historic area buildings). We were stressed about the parking situation when we first arrived since the regulations/hours were unclear, but the parking ended up being very convenient and not an issue. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dank and dark, but there is a dehumidifier down there that helps and of course some people (myself included) prefer a dark room for sleeping. Overall, a great place to stay and get to know Providence!

Historic home on Athenium Row!
This home is a two-level townhome that has been updated from an original 1845 row home. There are a few details left in the home (like the shutters or one small area of exposed brick and beam) to allow you to enjoy the original building structure. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was higher quality than most Vrbo properties. Parking was a challenge, but after speaking to the hosts we realized we could park directly in front of the home between 6pm and 8am or any time on weekends/holidays (which was not all that evident from the parking signage- the extra instruction was helpful). Thank you for a lovely stay!

Appeared clean until…
Everything was fine and clean, except after walking around barefoot the first evening, the otherwise white soles of my feet were brown. A deep cleaning of the floors is likely in order. They certainly looked clean and there was no debris. That being said, we would definitely stay there again!
