Sketchy location and poorly trained staff. On the street that the hotel is on, there are groups of homeless sleeping. We arrived at 3 for a 4 pm check in and were told it was too early to check in- it was policy, despite the fact that the reception area was empty. We had requested a handicapped accessible room because it was larger, but when checking in, the clerk looked at us and asked us if we really needed a handicapped room. We then were placed in a miniscule room. There was little storage and only two hangers in the closet. We were gone most of the following day and when we returned at 4 the room was not made up. We asked that the room be made up and were told that the staff was too busy and they were not sure when they would get to it. Housekeeping arrived at 6 as we were getting ready for dinner and we told them just to give us fresh towels. The next morning we went to breakfast at the hotel (which was pretty good) and arrived to find the room made up before we showered. That meant no clean towels for the next day. When we checked out, they were unable to provide a receipt as the printer was broken. they did not bother asking how our stay was. I contacted Wyndham hotels and they said that they were sorry about the circumstances, but the hotel was independently owned and we should contact them directly.

As soon as you arrive you'll be welcomed by the homeless about 50 ft away as there is a shelter down the street. We should all care about these unfortunate souls, but this is not what you expect when staying at at $350/night hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was too small for the price and several dog owners left their very barky and noisy dogs alone in the room. Staff did accommodate us by changing our room but we could still here them in the background. This hotel should be $200/night at most.

Fall weekend in Providence
Great location with walking distance to bars, restaurants shopping and several universities. Close to airport and many interesting towns along the water to visit. Comfortable room with nice bath products and big towels. City noise got a little loud Saturday night but we played white noise on our phone. Good breakfast options and friendly staff. Valet went over and above to make sure our car was out front bf he came on duty so we could catch a plane.

The hotel needs to do something about the homeless hanging around the front of the hotel. As we were not familiar with the area, it was a little unnerving to be approached by some of these people asking for money.

Love this charming boutique hotel. Walkable to many dining options and anywhere in Providence. Comfortable bed and a very roomy bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is wonderful!! Loved the feel of the neighborhood. Hotel decor was updated and nice. Couple of weird problems, the LED light in my room was hanging as if not properly mounted and flashed like a strobe. The shower in my friend's room wouldn't get hot. The free snacks and drinks in the evening weren't available in the morning. They said that was because breakfast would be served (not included) in the restaurant, but the restaurant didn't open for breakfast until 8, so what happens when you need to get out early in the morning?
