Pride of ownership abounds in this vacation home. Situated on the canals of the highly sought after neighbourhood of Leeward, Grace Bay, Villa Cariad is a spacious, 4,000 sq ft villa that will feel like home.

Four king bedrooms, each with tv's and ensuite bathrooms, have all recently been remodelled.

The extremely well-equipped kitchen is an absolute delight. Whether cooking inside or barbecuing in the gazebo by the pool, this open concept home integrates seamlessly from indoor to outdoor living.

The large dining and living room areas offer a gathering place for all...watch a movie or the big game on the 65" Smart TV, play some games or curl up with a good book. Three sets of double French doors lead to the screened lanai which features dining for 8 as well as comfortable lounge seating.

The pool area of Villa Cariad is where you will make special memories of your Turks & Caicos holiday. It features a salt water pool, two gazebos...one for lazing in the shade and the other which houses a large barbecue, sit-up bar, a refrigerator, ice maker and double sink. Here also you will find the 'Kayak Shack' which has a pool side restroom and all the toys you could wish for to enjoy the canals of Leeward. Kayaking and paddle boarding is a very expensive venture in Provo but Villa Cariad provides for you kayaks, stand up paddle boards, life jackets and high end snorkel gear for your use whenever you wish. Leave right from your 12' x 100' ft dock and safely paddle through the canals or, for the more adventurous, paddle over to the mangroves, Little Water Cay or Leeward Beach. Also at the property, we have beach/pool towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and four bicycles for you to enjoy during your stay.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR GUESTS OF VILLA CARIAD...FISHING & SNORKELLING CHARTERS ON OUR 44 ViKING. Outfitted for you to fish large game fish like Tuna, Marlin & Wahoo as well as Red Snapper & Grouper or you can enjoy a relaxing day on the water just swimming, snorkelling and exploring from the water side.

Our experienced Captain & First Mate will take you to the best fishing spots and then prepare your fish at the cleaning station located back at the dock.

Guests are able to bring on board their choice of beer, wine, spirits, drinks and food as the excursion is not provisioned.

All charters start when leaving the dock and finish upon arrival.

Perfect house

What a gem this house is! Located in a quiet area with easy access to all the action of Grace Bay and an easy addle to the mangroves and small islands. This home had more than we could have expected and was so comfortable to stay in. The property manager met us at the house and went over everything to make our vacation a treat.

Vacation of a Lifetime

This was such a beautiful villa. It was the most equipped vacation place I have ever been in. In addition, management was so accommodating and there when we had any questions. I can’t say enough about Leslie. It is absolutely beautiful Villa. True to the description on the website and then some. We will definitely be back!

Great location.

Leeward location is great. House is a good size, not too big and not too small. Really perfect for four to six adults. Certainly accommodates eight but the kitchen is small for a large group. Air conditioning and fans are loud but if you like white noise for sleeping you’ll find it perfect. A nice property with lots of colours in the gardens.

Great place for a large group

My husband and I stayed with 3 young adult children and 3 Of the friends. It was a great house for a large group and it was as fabulous as the pictures. We loved the water access from the canal and paddle boarded and kayaked a lot. We can’t wait to go back in the future.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Cariad! The pool was incredible and all of the toys were so wonderful too! We would definitely stay again! We had 5 adults and 3 kids and it was the perfect size. Everything is close by and all the amenities just made this place feel like home!

Fabulous home to relax, enjoy and rejuvenate

This property was absolutely incredible. Our family can't stop talking about it. We range from 16 to 76 and we all had plenty of room to gather and enjoy each other and plenty of room to get away and relax on our own. Being right on the canal was fantastic and allowed for activity from morning until night. The pool and the surrounding deck and outdoor kitchen allowed many hours of fun for our group. The location made it easy to get groceries and go to stores and restaurants as well as check out local beaches.

Family Vacation June 2021

Dear Leslie, Thank you so much for a wonderful, restful, beautiful vacation. This was our first visit to Turks and Caicos and we were so pleased with Villa Cariad. It was everything we could have hoped for. Gary did a wonderful job ensuring our move in was easy and organized and he continued to check in to make sure everything was going smoothly. He even helped arrange for a lovely spa day at the Palms resort. The house was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable! The location was lovely. We so enjoyed use of the kayaks and paddle boards. We were in the pool all the time. Living in California we typically go to Hawaii. We chose to go to Turks and Caicos because it was easier for our east coast and southern family members to meet us there vs. Hawaii. The beaches and warm waters of the Caribbean now rank higher on our list than Hawaii. We will definitely be coming back and if Leslie would be so gracious as to allow us to stay at Villa Cariad, we would do it in a heartbeat. Kathryn and David

Great house with awesome amenities!

My wife and I traveled in May '21 with one other couple. The house could have easily accommodated two other couples without feeling cramped. Everything was wonderful! The screened-in porch and pool area were great with tons of seating/lounge options. The sonos sound system worked great, and was easy to switch between rooms. We definitely took advantage of the paddleboards and kayaks in the canals and even out into the open water to explore the nearby cays. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the outdoor bbq/kitchen area was perfect for cooking outdoors. The only slight negative was the location was a little further from restaurants/shopping than I anticipated; but that's on me. I would definitely recommend this house!

Exceeded our expectations

We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cariad. The house and surrounding grounds were equal to or better than the pictures! The owners have provided every amenity one could wish for and equipped the kitchens, both in and out, with every gadget and utensil imaginable. We felt like—and treated as if—we were guests, not renters. The same is true of the watersports: snorkeling gear, kayaks and paddle boards enough for a small army! The only wish left unfilled was deep sea fishing on the owner’s boat, Chelsea Hunter. Poor communication between property manager and captain left us with coordinating a trip on another boat out of Turtle Bay.

Heaven on earth

I cannot find adjectives that truly capture the beauty of the space. The house was amazing and perfect for our family of 7 to get away and reconnect and reset with each other. There was no detail left uncovered in the house. Everything you could possibly want to just stay and never leave. We are truly appreciative of the owners for providing such a space and sharing with us. If you come to Villa cariad, you will never want to leave.

Excellent vacay at Excellent property

We had an amazing week at Villa Caridad! Our family of 6 loved this home. The house has been furnished with everything needed and then some. We loved the outdoor kitchen, paddle boards & kayaks, the canal to kayak out to beach. The charter boat available right at back doorstep was the best! This property is close to beaches and short drive to many restaurants. It is a very quiet neighborhood and perfect for a relaxing week which is exactly what we wanted. We would love to come back here anytime- beautiful island and perfect clean home. Thank you Guylaine for being there to answer any questions or suggestions we needed.

If we could give Villa Cariad an Overall Rating of 10, we would. 5 Stars for the property and 5 Stars for the people who make it work. We were looking for a place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family. None of the resorts could offer the homelike setting we wanted. We were so lucky to find Villa Cariad. The design of the house was perfect for our group of 3 couples and grandkids. We were able to spend time together in the central gathering areas and still have private bedrooms and baths at night. Owners Keely and Bob make Villa Cariad a truly special place, reflected by their attention to detail and their terrific support team. Guylaine, their charming property manager, arranged a wonderful welcome reception and was a great resource for things to do on the island. She responded very quickly to any need we had. For a family that loves water sports, having a pool and being located on the canal with kayaks, SUP’s and snorkeling gear available couldn’t have been better. We took advantage of everything, including a fishing trip on the Chelsea Hunter. We had a great time with Captain Belliard and Ronald. They are true gentleman. We learned how to fish and we all loved snorkeling from the boat.  Feasting on the fish we caught was a highlight of the trip! Michael and Randy keep the Villa in perfect condition and they too were a joy to meet. Villa Cariad is truly a special place. We thank Keely and Bob for sharing it with us - Rose & Dan

Perfect in every way!!!!!!

The house and location was perfect. There was six of us that stayed a week ( wish it could have a month). The house had everything we could have needed or wanted. The kayaks and paddle boards were a huge plus as there is a shallow water estuary close enough to visit and see a variety of sea life. The pool area is very large and is equipped with plenty of lounge chairs and seating. I could go on and on. The island and surrounding waters are beyond beautiful. I would definitely recommend booking a day or two with island vibes tours while there. It was our favorite time away from the house. Finally, I would say a rental car is a must. My entire family agreed that it was the best vacation we ever took.

Turks Getaway

This Villa worked very well for the 2 couples and 2 kids as it was close to town if we needed anything but had a great laid back feel to it. We had a great time and the Villa was well appointed for all our needs. Great week spent at Villa Cariad.

Amazing Vacation at Villa Cariad again!

3rd year in a row renting Villa Cariad. Amazing villa with everything needed to enjoy our stay. The outdoor kitchen makes it easy for dinners in and the pool provides hours of fun for our family. The screened in porch is our favorite hang out area in the morning for breakfast and a great area for the kids to get out of the sun in the afternoon. Plus the perfect location, making it easy to get to Leeward and Sunset beach. Plus close to restaurants and shopping at Grace Bay. We have made so many memories in Turks and Caicos and Villa Cariad is part of our memories! As soon as we get off the plane we are relaxed and in paradise. The owners and house manager are very prompt in responding to emails with questions. We will be back again next year.

Wonderful Stay in Spectacular Property

A superb luxury property in a great location. Very little to add to the reviews already posted. Plenty of room for our family of 7 adults, well maintained, every amenity you could need or want in great condition. All of that with a very responsive owner. Would absolutely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering a visit to the island.

No Reason To Leave

My friends and I loved our stay at 17 Villa Cariad. I am trying to think of a single thing that these reviews don’t already state. There were 3 couples but this house would easily fit 4 couples each on their own corner of the house. We had plenty of room to spread out. The house had everything you could possibly imagine. We were greeted by Herb who told us the hot spots to eat and visit. Bobby responded to every possible question I had. Randy did an excellent job caring for the home. We spent a lot of time swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, and relaxing at the house. The beaches were just a bike, kayak or car ride away. We cooked most of our meals in as we enjoyed spending time at the house so very much. You have an amazing kitchen outdoor and indoor. The screened in porch is where we regularly dined. I can’t forget to mention all of the technology in this home. The house is loaded with sound systems at every turn. This home will make you rethink booking a resort in the future. Having a well stocked home such as this one has forever spoiled me for a vacation option.
