200% recomendable alojarse en este lugar
Alfredo nos dio la habitación "amarilla", la más grande de la casa. Era una pasada total, nunca había tenido una habitación así, menudo tamaño (38 m2)! Y el jardín era enooooormeeeee, nunca me hubiese imaginado al caminar por la calle que al otro lado de los muros habría un jardín tan enorme perteneciente a una sola casa. Si el jardín es super llamativo, la casa, del S. XVII, es absolutamente espectacular, vaya alucine. Me hacía trasladarme a otra época. El desayuno se sirve de 9 a 11 horas en el salón principal. Es bastante completo con fruta, embutidos, cereales, pan, dulce, mermeladas… Me sentía como la duquesa de los Bridgerton, desayunando en ese salón de época escuchando la música clásica de fondo. Después de desayunar dedicamos un buen rato a hablar con Alfredo, el heredero y dueño de la casona. Tenía un montón de dudas con respecto a la casa y él me las solventó todas con paciencia. Me ha encantado este hotel (y su desayuno), además de la amabilidad de Alfredo.

Todo exquisito: loza de La Cartuja en el desayuno, dulces exquisitos, servilletas de tela,... Muy atento el dueño. Un gran acierto para hospedarse cuando vas a la Riveira Sacra.

Increíble atención personal, nos esperó para hacer el check in hasta muy avanzada la noche. La habitación era muy amplia y el desayuno.. la boca de Trives deliciosa.. sin duda repetiremos

La verdad es que buscábamos alojamiento en Castro Caldelas y al no encontrar buscamos en las cercanías, Pobra de Trives me parecía lejos en el mapa, pero sinceramente 10 minutos en el coche por una estupenda carretera me parece un precio muy bajo para lo que nos encontramos en la Casa Grande de Trives. En todo momento Alfredo nos hizo sentir como en nuestra propia casa, espectaculares desayunos caseros, un trato muy cercano con una conversación muy ilustrada y una casa con los típicos ruidos y olores añejos de una auténtica casona gallega. Unas habitaciones limpias y seguramente las mas grandes que nunca disfrutamos, un sitio muy tranquilo para descansar la jornada del viajero y un lugar para volver. Repetiremos.
