Everything about it, was TERRIBLE
The rooms were musty and mouldy, dangerous to one’s health. I sent pictures to Expedía, Customer Service.
The rooms are in total disrepair. No handle on shower sliding door to close when showering, just in the inside, this made it impossible to shower properly as water spilled outside the shower, we had to dry the bathroom floor after shower.
Also, I don’t understand why, if I paid for the booking, they had to charge our friend taxes. He paid about $29 US approx. They said it was because he was Argentinean. Other hotels in Argentina didn’t charge that tax to our friend, since the bookings are in our name as Canadians.
Our friend asked for an official receipt but they did not provide it. He wanted to go to the Argentinean Tax Agency to dispute the charge but without an official receipt is not possible.
I don’t know how they get to be rated a “3 Star Hotel”. It’s not even a 1 star.
I canceled my stay with Expedia. I am expecting to receive a confirmation for a refund of at least 2 days out of the 3 we were supposed to stay.
Anyway, I don’t think Expedia should be advertising this business whatsoever, at least until they get their house in order.
