This is a great resort. The landscaping is beautiful, the pool are gorgeous, the food is good and the staff is very nice. However, the bed was uncomfortable , there was no comforter and it seems like they are cutting corners from my previous stay. Regardless, for the price, it can't be beat. It is a great resort with nice amenities.

Tuvimos un viaje familiar y disfrutamos mucho la estadía en este Resort, recomiendo ampliamente. En general todo el personal fue muy amable y servicial, sin embargo, en los restaurantes con reservaciones como el Marina y El Italiano sugiero que mejoren la atención ya que en ambas reservaciones nos apresuraban a comer porque ya iban a cerrar y la actitud de los meseros no fue tan grata, fuera de eso todo lo demás estuvo increíble.

It was considered low season this time of the month so not all restaurants are open. Also, lots of sargassum which makes the beach smell bad. I also didn’t like that they try to get you to attend a time share presentation. Housekeeping was excellent and they keep your mini fridge well stocked and the mini chocolates surprise in the evening is such a sweet gesture 😊.

Food was great overall, you won't get access to all the restaurants, but if you choose Mexican, Mediterranean and Japanese, you will have great food. Hotel room was beautiful and clean and with a beautiful view. Pools are nice as well as the bars. As it has a Marina, and a Delphinus you can take water tours from the marina and swim with the dolphins. If you're an ocean and beach lover, this is not for you, beach is horrible they have sand bags in the water so you can't bath and it stinks horribly, they remove the seaweed from the beach but leave it on the sides to rotten and the smell is horrible. Also, if you like to go out and explore or go to a nice beach or shopping, rent a car, even if it's just for part of your stay. Transportation is really pricey. A bonus, there are crocodiles and water lilies at the Akat restaurant, that was beautifull

Extremely family oriented and couples resort. Had many pools, lobby’s, and restaurants to suit anyone’s mood from quiet and relaxing to active and party time atmosphere. Marina El Cid its an amazing all inclusive resort. We stayed at Ventus Ha but had access to all of the pools and areas. Staff was so friendly and nice and helpful. Transportation from one place to another was so easy with their little sports cars. Everything was clean! Food excellent with so many options! Definitely would go back!

The property is okay. surrounded by swamp and LOTS of mosquitos. the restaurants were alright. The worst one was AAkat. we upgraded to a swim up in Ventus and realized the cleaning people threw dirty water from the upstairs balconies into the pool area so we went back to our original room at Vantus Ha. much better. there is construction going on however its not very noisy. The food is mid. the pools were good and a decent temperature. All staff expect to be tipped, for everything. Although I do tip I ave never been to a resort where its expected for any little thing. Overall I would not return to this resort

We had a great time there. The only downside was that the ocean was not the best. If you're looking to enjoy a beautiful beach, this place is not for you. Other than that everything was great staff nice swimming pool and a good food

We have stayed here twice and both times were a dream. I don't think we can get ourselves to stay anywhere else now. And please remember people, service runs on tips in Mexico do this and you will be served like a king/queen.
