PRIVATE OCEANFRONT 2 bedroom condo in the lovely Laguna Shores gated resort! Condo has WiFi throughout as well as a smart T.V in the living room. You get access to all the amenities such as the 5,000 foot infinity pool, Ocean front jacuzzi, shell collecting, clam digging, beach volleyball, restaurant, tennis court, putting greens, cigar bar, basketball court, beach bike riding, spa services, kayaks, with 24 hour security. Condo is on the ground level and just steps away from the beautiful ocean!

Quiet and Relaxing
Overall we enjoyed our stay. As Christmas holiday visitors we almost had the entire resort and beach to ourselves. We loved walking along the beach collecting shells. The tides had the water a.3-.9 mile walk (high vs low tide) but we didn’t mind that. We did miss hearing the waves from the unit. The unit was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The pool and hot tub at the resort need some tile repair. We loved being a bit removed from town and enjoyed celebrating Christmas here.

Honest review
Really clean and very well stocked kitchen. I must have stayed at over 100 rental properties but this was the only kitchen with everything. Condo itself was very clean. This place is perfect for families with little kids because of beach. When tide is up water is only up to knees. So families with little kids to play in sand is perfect. We enjoyed the place because we went to relax and it was perfect for us.

Clean Property, Perfect Location
The unit was very spacious for a two bedroom and price was reasonable. There were a lot of amenities included like kayaking, boogie boarding, volleyball, bicycles, etc. You just had to leave your ID and a safety deposit of $20 for the bigger items. This gets returned to you when you’re done playing. The area was beautiful and located in a family friendly community. It was well staffed and clean. The swimming pool was fun! There were a few baby crabs in the property. I assume this is what was referred as the pests in the property description. My son was catching them and releasing them in the ocean. They were pretty cool. Overall, I recommend this property.

Waiting on the tide
Every time we go to Puerto Penasco we stay on or right next to the beach/water. We like to jump in and enjoy the waves and wildlife multiple times a day. This property is on the beach but there is only a window of time during high tide that the water is close enough to enjoy. 75% or our days was waiting on the tide to come in. There is a rec. center, restaurant, and pool but not the ocean to play in.

Perfect Getaway
Views were amazing! Just steps off the back porch right onto the beach. Host was responsive. The restaurant which is literally steps away was amazing! Lots of amenities. Would stay here again and again.

Resort condo, ground level right by the shore. Beautiful. Very close to resort pool, restaurant and activities (kayaks, paddle board, boogie boards). We really enjoyed the tides...extreme low tides with great opportunity to collect shells. Lots of beautiful wildlife, too.

The place was great! Check in and out was easy. We forgot the to bring sand toys for the little one but they had a container with sand toys there so that was very nice. The beds were clean and comfortable. We have been doing this family vacation every year and this has been the most pleasant one. We would definitely stay again. Everything worked, ac unit was great! Nothing to complain about.

Property was great and had everything we needed. Owner was very nice and responded quickly. Unfortunately, we came when the tides were always low so beach and swimming in ocean was not possible during our stay but dogs loved the low tide and beach!

Paradise in Laguna Vista
We are return guest that enjoyed another great experience from a very welcoming check-in. The pool bar always adds another element of entertainment. We also did some excellent fishing!! The resort was extremely peaceful as most families had begun to end their holiday weekend. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway just across the border. Look no further as this is a hidden gem with stunning view of the Sea of Cortez.

Hidden Piece of Puerto Peñasco Paradise
Five Star Experience from booking to checking -out. The owner is extremely responsive. It was our first time in Puerto Peñasco and we have traveled all throughout Mexico from Cabo to Cancun and many more so I did not know what to expect. I must admit that when the tide comes in the beach is absolutely stunning. The location of the property might be the best on the entire resort. The patio is only steps away from the beach and the pool and restaurant as well. The resort is very private and family oriented. Relaxing quiet mornings with stunning sunsets. Cozy and Relaxing
We had a nice and relaxing stay at Laguna Shores. The resort is just outside the main area of Puerto Penasco. The resort itself is very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The house was clean and cozy. The only setback is that at about 5pm every day the beach tide goes back about a mile or so but it's great for tide pooling. Overall, I would recommend

Great place for people with dogs.
The location is great. The condo is as close as it can safely be to the ocean at high tide. At low tide, it is well over a mile to the ocean. Our dogs loved it. The restaurant is upscale, but reasonably priced.

Great for the dogs
We brought our dogs to the beach for a little thanksgiving vacation. We enjoyed being right on the beach and the remoteness of the property was great for us because there were no stray dogs and not many people in the resort for the first several days. The beds were comfortable but the other furnishing and the kitchen supplies (pots, pans and knives) were not great. If you plan on cooking bring your own supplies. The tide was crazy - in from noon to 2ish every day - and out for over a mile in the morning and afternoon- we brought our paddle boards and enjoyed going out while the tide was in- we went shell hunting when the tide was out- and the shells were great. We walked out several times over the tidal area to where the water was and let the dogs run, which was great for us. It was a unique experience and we made the best of it, but it may not be for everyone. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio and the sunsets were gorgeous. The condo is right next to the resort pool area- but the pool is not heated and it was freezing- I didn’t see one person get in the pool-which was sad because we thought we would be able to swim a bit- the hot tub was warm but not hot. We had dinner at Infusion and the food was good.

A fun little spot
We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a spot to stay just outside of Puerto Penasco. North of the busy hotel beach of Sandy Beach by about 15 min, it's nice and quiet. This unit is steps to the resort's pool with a swim up bar. The restaurant has AMAZING food. The pretty estuary is a nice walk down the beach. Best of all, this unit is pet friendly and our doggies had the time of their lives.

Lovely weekend!
We were greeted by the Laguna Shores staff including the pool side and Infusion restaurant staff warmly. The area is in phase 2 of development so lots of work is in progress in the resort community. It did not disrupt us in the least but it is something to conscider if you are looking for a vacation home in Puerto Penasco. There are lots of activities available in this resort community so no need to experience the hustle and bustle of Rocky Point if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. This property is very nice and represented honestly in VRBO. We did not understand the tide schedule so most of the waking hours the tide was out very far except for our last day. The tide was high and close to the back patio. We will know next time but it did not hinder our enjoyment at all. We found tons of extraordinary shells and took long interesting walks out to the water. We plan to return soon and thank the hosts for responding so quickly to our questions. This was a great vacation!
