We stayed for 11 days. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Buffet was great, lots of fresh food and authentic Mexican dishes - not for everyone, but we loved it! Rooftop pool was our favorite hangout, quieter than downstairs pool. Beach was swimmable, but lots of vendors, non-stop asking for your attention, but they were nice too. We got the room we payed for, AC worked the whole time, WiFi works great, too. Only complaint is I bought jewelry from the guy who comes three times a week to the lobby, and it was fake, not real silver, so I lost $45USD thereā€¦ Will definitely come back!

This resort is quite run down and dirty. Our AC didnā€™t work so we turned up the ceiling fan which then literally fell apart. We were offered another room without a balcony or ocean view, they said it would be for just for one night. That would be three different rooms in three nights. We declined, then we did get a better room that still had issues. The AC didnā€™t work well, luke warm to cold showers, curtains in shreds. We heard from a few other guests that they had been moved multiple times. The staff are trying their best with what they have. Hopefully in time the resort will receive the upgrades it needs.

Terrible experience! We arrive to check in and my rooms were not ready. I booked two rooms and it took them over 2 hour to give us the rooms making check in at 6pm instead of 4pm. The guy checking us in was questioning me if I had paid for the rooms and that he didn't want any surprises. I felt discriminated why would I book something that wasn't paid for. Only white americans were greeted nicely and not questioned about payment. The food was disgusting. I was unable to eat anything there and had to spend more money eating out everyday. The 7 different restaurants they claim you can eat at you can only book for dinner and if you don't book between 6am - 7am the morning of you can not reserve. One of my rooms had dirty sheets, I had to wait another hour for the sheets to get changed. They had no towels in the room and when we asked we did not get towels until the next day. Overall the staff was not kind at all. Everyone answered questions with an attitude. Staff were making fun of people who did not speak spanish calling them mean names etc. Overall it was such a horrible experience. Never again will I book to stay there!! Don't waste your money! Wish there was an option to give 0 stars.

The room exceptional, plenty of lounge chairs by the pool, food was good with a few slow nights but not the norm. Staff was exceptional and made us feel like family. Drinks were plentiful. Overall great time!

First of all I would like to express my thanks to the wonderful Staff that try their hardest to make our stay comfortable. I have previously stayed at these same hotel many many times, although this last time was very unpleasant. they had to move us several times from rooms because the ac was not working, water leaking from the restroom vent, etc. Food is not the same anymore, no working toaster in the buffet, very limited, panini machine not working, food was cold, there was no gas for breakfast so food was practically cold. No umbrellas on the beach area, not enough chairs one lobby bar, no lobby night entertainment like before. We did hear from most guests their discontent comments about the condition of the hotel. This hotel is in a superb location! Property Owner and Management either need to get changed or really look into reviews from guests.

The staff was phenomenal! Daniel made me feel very welcome and i loved the location! The air conditioner in the rooms were hit or miss (i came with a large group and about half of our air conditioners worked well). The amenities were great. I would definitely stay here again!

I had a reservation paid for 4 months ago. On the day of our arrival they gave us a room that was already occupied. We returned to reception and the only thing they said was that there were no rooms available like the one I had reserved and that I would have to wait until the next day in another room with a very good view (view of the roof of the restaurant) the next day I showed up at reception and they finally gave me my room that I had reserved according to partial sea view but it was with a view of the tennis court, I didn't like the room so I decided to go down to the reception to talk to the manager but when I asked he was very rude and rude when answering (he only said there are no rooms and if you want to come back until tomorrow after 3 o'clock) we decided to return to the room and relax in the jacuzzi. ready naked to take a hot shower in the jacuzzi other clients entered the room because it had been assigned and our room keys were deactivated under the reception very upset by what happened and the only thing they said was sorry, the truth is we had a very bad time experience and we will never return to this hotel, it has very poor organization and they do not respect the reservations because we were not the only ones who were relocated to another room I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, I thought I would have the best honeymoon but everything was ruined, I know that when I see the company This review will only say an apology for its inconvenience

Let me start by saying that if you are looking for a "Canadian" 4-star hotel, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a comfortable, safe and fun experience, book a stay here! That being said, I was almost ready to cancel this hotel after reading the terrible reviews. I am SO glad that I didn't, my husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time and will not hesitate to stay here again! The property is about 10 minutes from the airport (150 pesos) and check-in was a breeze. We were quite early, but Fidel at the front desk was wonderful in arranging for a room for us so we didnt have to wait. My first impression of the hotel was very positive - its open air, smells nice and there is a nice little lobby bar steps from check-in. You can see the ocean as soon as you enter the hotel, and it was a glorious sight! We had an ocean front room 7002 (definitely book an ocean front if able). Note that this room is NOT good for anyone with mobility issues as there are stairs. The food was good, but a bit repetitive which is the case with ANY all-inclusive. The drinks were good, and the pool entertainment was really great. We never had issues getting sun loungers, but you do need to "reserve" a beach bed by about 8:00 am. The resort is walking distance to little shops and a grocery store (like Walmart) to grab whatever you need. About 10 minutes to the Marina, as well as the Mallecon and Romatica (both a must see). A great vacation!

The resort that is depicted here and on the resorts website falls short. The pictures make this resort seem in much better shape than it is. We had to change our room because there was mold next to the air conditioner on the ceiling and the air conditioner was not working. Once we were moved after having to make a scene, we discovered, the air conditioning in our new room was not working properly and had to ask repeatedly for a fan. The curtain in our room had mold on it and had to be replaced. Also, there was no television in our room. The staff did provide us with a fan, a tv, and replaced the curtain but only after we advocated for ourselves and made several requests. The breakfast and lunch were good, but dinner was sub-par. We ended up eating dinner out every night after our meals were severely undercooked the first night. The drinks are ok. We made the best of our stay and still had a great time but if you're looking for a resort that is updated and will cater to your needs, I would look elsewhere.
