Beautiful property, the staff is very friendly, and the jungle setting is gorgeous. Downfalls - food is not good, limited choices (buffet and two restaurants) and there is absolutely nothing to do. This is a perfect spot if you don’t want to be on the beach, don’t want to do anything but lounge by the pool, or if you have small children. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a resort with good food and entertainment

Nestled in the mountains, very scenic and cozy. Rooms and facilities were a bit dated however the staff was excellent. It was a bit inconvenient especially if you left the property. The property is isolated from other hotels so ordering an uber was challenging.

The staff at the hotel were always friendly and welcoming, they go out of their way to make the stay comfortable for you. The drinks are great and the food truck, poolside bar and the beach club have great food, the buffet has a bit of everything for everyone too. We didn’t want leave!

This resort on the mountain side is stunning. Right from the gate, reception, kitchen to cleaning, the staff are truly exceptional and professional. Service is prompt and efficient. We don't speak Spanish but it was quite easy to communicate our needs, which were met with enthusiasm. My family and I enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

Beautiful jungle resort. Lots of smaller warm pools that were quiet. Nice lazy river and 2 waterslides. Very comfortable beds! The main buffet was lacking options but still quality food.

Staff was amazing - everyone super friendly and amazing. Golf carts give you rides whenever needed. Rooms beautiful - loved the decor and beds very comfortable No children’s club but they have scheduled arts and crafts with Edith who was amazing. Kids loved it. Lots of pools so you are never crowded, lots of sitting areas and shade. The view and trees were amazing Bus to beach every hour Uber to take you other places for a good price if required Only thing that makes this a 4 star instead of a 5 star review was the food. 1 buffet with same stuff every day for breakfast - got old fast. 1 restaurant for supper (tepenyaki) other than buffet was good but it’s 1 option with same menu. Lunch was the same menu (3 items to choose from) all were good but got old fast. Taco / quesadilla stands were delicious - but the place needs more dining options. We were told next year they are getting another restaurant but currently that’s the downfall. Again staff amazing - so relaxing - so quiet - loved it We stayed 4 nights - by the 4th day we were ubering to eat elsewhere.

This place is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, the food wasn't 5* but it was good. I really liked the Japanese restaurant. Ate at the pool bar a lot. The fish crackle is soooo goood! Rooms are great, comfy bed. I would definitely stay again!
