It’s an old hotel with a lot of charm. Rooms are clean, staff are wonderful and when you step out the door you are at the Malacon. Perfect location. Bonus MacDonalds ice cream across the street plus Starbucks a few steps away. Highly recommend especially if you’re a solo traveller like me. 💕💕💕

When booking the hotel we understood our room would have an ocean view. When arriving we were disappointed to find that we had a room on the front side facing the street. We also were informed we would have breakfast included. We received coffee, some undrinkable juice, a small amount of fruit and some cold pieces of small round bread of some discription. We felt this was not a breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was excellent. We felt mislead with our booking.

Great location! Hair dryer had to be picked up at front desk and brought back within 30 minutes. Restaurant that was supposed to be open Until 10 PM, no coffee at 7 o’clock at night or dessert. Room was clean. Amazing views of the ocean..

So first of all, this hotel is in the sh*t. I done mean it was bad, I mean it is literally at the entrance of the malecón (boardwalk) and all of the chaos that entails. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this ain’t it. If you’re looking to stumble back from a waterfront sports bar, this is the way. Overall the quality is,, well, fine. Is it amazing? No. Is it clean? Mostly. But this is also literally the first hotel in PV and this old girl is a little tired. I was here for one week, and had no problems. There’s AC, the bed was meh, and I was able to walk Avery where I needed to go. It ain’t the ritz, but it is very affordable lodging with no issues to report.

This property is extremely convenient! It is located in the middle of downtown and everything is in walking distance. It is a very safe area too! We took an uber to and from the airport and it was easy and fast. The hotel itself is old and could use some upgrade but its location helps balance that. Also, the beds we not that comfortable. If you are looking for something affordable and convenient, this is the place!

Reception is terrible and overly rude..don't book online because they won't give u a room even if u show them your booking confirmation..they will make u wait and sweat in your travel clothes til u pay in cash...they pretend not to understand u when they r trying to screw u...then amazing enough after u pay they suddenly speak English...

I love that the property is next to the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff greets you at all times and is very helpful when it comes to getting directions or safe places to go to. I felt really comfortable and would go back again on my next visit!

What a GORGEOUS property! This hotel has it ALL! We stayed for 4 days and we plan to visit again. The restaurant and bar (The Agave) is so good we never found it necessary to go find another place to have our meals. Meticulous grounds. With a lovely pool and the ocean is right there! We are from the US and don't speak Spanish but the staff is very patient and there was always someone around that could translate. IF there was anything that I would change, it would be that the main entrance to the bathroom and master bedroom had a door. Even a curtain like the toilet alcove or the shower would be acceptable. The bathroom was itself was lovely, all Mexican tile and the space was huge! Our room had a foyer! However, when the inner door into the room was opened, BOOM! there was the open facility and if one had just stepped out of the shower, it could be a shocking situation. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return with family the next time we visit.
