We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room, nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We asked about an evening meal and he booked us in which was a nice touch. The bed was springy but still comfortable. The shower was nice and we would recommend it for sure. Breakfast was adequate with the salmon and scrambled eggs better than the full breakfast. Orange juice was too sweet but the tea was good. For what we paid I would happily return.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Labouring Man We done an overnight stay as we had been to Goodwood Revival The staff and locals where very friendly The pub is lovely a proper British pub Room and breakfast was really good Would stay here again
Great welcome, easy and flexible check in. All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Large comfortable room with great free Wi-Fi.
Good value pub food and a nice breakfast.
Second time me, my son and grandson have stayed here. It’s comfortable, has a friendly atmosphere, lovely food and a good selection of drinks. Given a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early. Great location for Goodwood
Would recommend this to anyone! Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful bed, so comfy. Lovely large room with tea & coffee making, ironing board, iron, and a jar of jelly beans! Very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant with friends. It was delicious. I had cottage pie, our friends had the pork stuffing pie, great desserts and was not overpriced either.

Friendly pub
Have stayed here before and returned as we love the convenience of the property for visiting nearby attractions. Owners really friendly and welcoming. Room we requested is large and comfortable, although mattresses were a little softer than we remember, so beds not quite as comfortable as when we visited in 2022. However everything was very clean. Good value meals available in the evening and inclusive breakfast is very good.
Had a great stay , staff extremely friendly and helpful the food was great, good variety and homecooked cannot fault it . Even the locals were welcoming .
This was a great overnight stay with a clean and cosy room. The owners and staff were very nice and made sure we were looked after as we travelled from far and also had to leave early in the morning.
The room had every thing you needed with toiletries, tea and coffee making, and extra heater if needed and they had thought of the customer at all times.
The food at the pub was excellent and we old definitely visit again.
Really lovely stay at The Labouring Man. The room was a great size, well presented, very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were warm and inviting (good food). Very welcoming and friendly service. Will definitely return.
Fabulous stay and excellent accommodation and food
4 nights of comfort and fabulous food. Couldn't make breakfast but was given a suitable packed breakfast that just hit the spot.
Evening meals of the home cooked range were fabulous.
Mini break for my 50th. Beautiful pub and accommodation with real local charm and such hospitality and generosity. Thank you Martin, Lynn and team for making my stay so memorable.
Excellent staff, great rooms, very clean and tidy. Locals were very nice too. Breakfast was really good and so nice to get the toast with the breakfast so its still hot!
Good parking.
