It was a wonderful experience, the hotel is super beautiful and clean. The people who serve are very kind and always have a smile on their face, which is contagious and relaxing. They are attentive to our needs and willing to help at all times. We are definitely delighted and ready to return soon.

I love the size of the property. The closeness to the beach. Easy to get around. I enjoyed the food. Loved the workers. They where always friendly...I would definitely come back. Next time I will try one of their other properties.

The bartender at the bar off of the lobby area was fantastic. He remembered us and knew what we were drinking every night. Coffee drinks in the morning was a struggle.

I stayed in the resort for one week with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. The check in staff were welcoming, professional, and accommodated us with our stay. Our stay in the hotel has been great there are no complaints, unfortunately the service in the restaurants we reserved has been terrible. There were only three restaurants out of four that has gone great. The staff are disrespectful and judgmental when we speak with them. Coming from a 5 star resort, the service is severely lacking which is unacceptable. All restaurants are far from each considering the resort is combined with other hotels; while there is transportation to get us there I find it extremely inconvenient having to move far just to be receive disappointment from the restaurant staff’s service and having to return back again. Good restaurants we recommend are Sports Bar, Thali Restaurant, Mashua, MEAT Restaurant, Buffet (sometimes), and the hotel bars. However, the stay in our hotel has been amazing, the staff in our hotel has been amazing. There are amazing entertainment in the pool and the guest lobby has been amazing. We had several complaints that we directed them and they gave us resolutions. All our concerns we took them to Orly. We highly recommend speaking to him if you have any complaints or questions. Overall, this resort is not the one for us and we will unfortunately not return unless there are good offers and conditions of improving the behavior of their staff.

Pros: The hotel is clean, spacious room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The activities are endless if you go to the other Bahias and easy to access with the caddy rides which are provided from the hotel. Cons: the food is not good, the restaurants as well. Actually you better eat at the buffet than restaurants. The only good one was Limbo steak house. We all had food poisoning and had projectile vomiting and diarrhea with slight fever after eating one night which ruined the whole vacation.

Bahia Aquamarine was a nice resort but noticed that small details were neglected. Some positives of the resort was the service, some of the nicest and hardest working service workers and entertainers I’ve seen. The specialty restaurants were delicious. Negatives: Our room wasn’t very clean, saw hair all over the room, a dirty bandage on the floor, and areas like the shower weren’t really deep cleaned. The floor was also pretty dirty and didn’t seem like it was swept or mopped. The buffet food options were pretty limited and some of the food was not cooked to the right temperature or did not taste well. I did visit Bahia Luxury Bougainville 2 years ago and didn’t deal with most of the negatives stated above. Overall me and my family did enjoy our stay at Aquamarine. Would love to visit another brand under Bahia in the future but Aquamarine may be passed on from this point on.

Spent a week out here. The best part was the entertainment crew. The room was a spacious and the cleaning staff was great. There was a water leak with water dripping from the bathroom lights. A member of our party had multiple issues upon move in and had to be moved. Later in the stay, their room was completely flooded late at night. They had to be moved two time that night due to a burst pipe. They ultimately ended up moving 3 times which is not acceptable. The bed was pretty hard as well, so i slept on the couch some days. The soup in all 3 of our a-la-carte restaurants had to be sent back to be heated. The Tequilla mexican restaurant food was very bland. Fish market was the only decent restaurant we attended. Maiko Tepanyaki was extremely hot inside and part of my party had to walk out because it was so hot. Just sitting there my arms were sweating. The buffet had a lot of choices, but many times the fried foods were over cooked, dry, and chewy. Again there were plenty of choices so I didn’t go hungry. Overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The daily entertainment was fun. The pool bar staff were great and kept the drinks flowing. I wish the bubbling hot tub pool was actually hot. I cant say it was any hotter than the regular pool. The regular pools were also really way too warm to be refreshing. I had to take and outside shower at the plentyful poolside showers to get cool. Best: shuttle carts, buffet, pool Worst: a la carte restaurants
