Overall was a great time. We did have issues with the room. No hot water and showers were weak. The sliding glass door broke and we had to have it serviced twice...but the service and people were excellent

This is an excellent vacation spot. The level of cleanliness around the property is impressive. From the room to the grass on the law everything is immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and a variety of options was offered throughout the stay. The beach was a bit dirty when we arrived as it had been raining, but as soon as the weather cleared up, the beach was very clean and the water was perfect. Staff were cleaning the beach every single day. Overall, really impressed and plan to return again.

There were cockroaches at the property. I first saw one outside by the cigar shop it ran away then turned and looked at me and flew towards me. I next saw one crawl out of the bidet in our room at 530 in the morning. It was as big as my hand. My husband then found some in the jam of the sliding door in our room. My husband also saw one in the jam of the door of the lobby bathroom. The sheets smelled terrible like bad butt. The activities were very limited. Some staff were great while others were lazy. One small pool area. The beach was nice. Staff harassed daily for you to listen to them try to sell you a house on the property. I will never go back. I have traveled all over the place and never had such a terrible experience with a lack of bug control. There are staff in the lobby trying to get you to scan the QR code and give them 5 stars. This is most likely why they have so many 5 strs and they are rated an 8.4 on the expedia app.

The property needs major updating from everything including the infrastructure to amenities and everything in between. We’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and this one unfortunately lacks in many areas. Those reviews you’re reading about the power going out frequently? Those are indeed real. They do not have the capacity to maintain the amount of energy they are producing at all hours of the day so the power goes out often. As a result, many people’s ACs were not working including ours and we had to be moved. Hot water was another issue. The one positive is that the staff is as good as it gets! They are ALL wonderful and do their best to accommodate even when things are out of their control. As far as the food goes, it was nothing spectacular but in these types of places, it usually never is. Overall we had a great time as there were 18 of us as a family but we will not be going back. They need to spend the money to fix their known issues first

Hotel muy lindo, muy bien cuidado. Se nota que tiene sus años pero está muy bien mantenido. La comida muy buena. Lo unico malo es que reservamos 4.noches y sólo podiamos ir dos noches a los restaurants a la carta. Cuando nos quejamos xq eso no lo devia en ningún lado al reservar, nis dieron una cena más pero tuvimos que repetir restaurant xq el francés edtaba cerrado. La playa es linda pero el mar no es cristalino, es bastante turbio y de color marrón. Habia aguas vivas, a mi amiga la picó una y para atenderla dn el hotel le querian conrar US $200. Todo el personal muy amable, quiero destacar a Marcos del area de entretenimiento que nos enseñó a bailar merengue y bachata con muy buena onda. También quiero destacar a Francisco del restaurant buffet que nos atendió de maravilla

Spent a week at this resort and enjoyed the whole experience. The room was comfortable, the staff were caring and attentive, the food which includes the banquet and three restaurants was great. The activities were decent. Also the beach and pools were not crowded. Overall a great experience!
