The place was beautiful. The air conditioning was not adequate in my room. It's promoted as a party hotel, but they moved the party from in the lobby into a lounge, which had no A. C. It was excruciatingly hot and then The party died down.They should have just left it outdoors.In the lobby where the bar was because it was so much fun. They forgot to give my friend back her passport. When we checked in which was a little bit annoying. My room was next to the stairs that move garbage so that wasn't fun. The atmosphere was lovely. The pools were great. The vibe was nice, especially there were no children around. But I wish it felt more like I was in Dominican Republic, not in America, where they're trying to make it white and friendly for foreigners. I'm in the Dominican Republic. I wanna feel like I'm in a Spanish country with the food. The music every aspect of it. I don't want to feel like I paid so much money to go on vacation. Just for them to make it friendly for white people in America or the European countries Basically, these hotels are too white.

Property presents as an all-inclusive 21 resort but is honestly more geared towards a retirement lifestyle. Nothing against that but advertising versus what actually exists is important. Definitely would encourage for my parents or even grandparents on their visit to the country but not really geared to a younger demographic.

I loved everything except the upselling. People come to vacation, not to purchase things from vendors everywhere for exorbitant prices. Excursions are $100 minimum per person, which is stupid, especially if you spent over $4000 to travel. I don’t get why these things are not included.

Majority of staff is good and smile most of the time. The bartenders are generally decent but I had to tell them how to make some drinks. If you had diamond club, well they knew how to make drinks. So only good bartenders are in the club? Got really sick on the Indian food so in bed all day! They said probably not use to the food but nope, it was the food! It's really the property, it's not being maintained. I'd rate it a 2.8 not 4.5 Star hotel..

The property and rooms were a little more outdated than we would have liked. My concierge lady Saudy was AMAZING! If you stay ask for her. She helped us make reservations and would answer anytime of the day or night and always quick to respond. The staff were very friendly and the guys doing the MC and all of the games throughout the day were great too! The restaurants were average as well as the buffet. Italian was the best then the steak house was second on our list. The people that are trying to sell excursions or the time share were aggressive and didn’t love that a whole lot. Other than that it was nice there. I probably would only go back just to see Saudy.
