Not sure why this resort is 5 stars. Looks different in person and much much smaller. Only 2 restaurants on the property. They offer early check-in but nothing was available. Waited 5hrs in their lobby because they did not allow me to hang by the pool or bar until my room was ready, they said they’d have to charge me extra. The food was indeed good for the most party. Not much options for breakfast. No open buffet area or all day eating place. Had to starve because I missed the lunch hours and the restaurant was closed until dinner. Pool area wasn’t so clean, lots of dead bugs in the pool. Towels had many stains. There’s no entertainment area. Hosted a game night and karaoke night all in the same lobby area where people are also trying to check-in and out. A very weird setup. I was so bored, everyone looked bored to be honest. I could hear other guests making the same complaints. This resort had a lot of false advertisement on the property. There’s no beach on property. They said there was a man-made beach but it was just water and rocks in a small area. Very unpleasant view and looked much different from the photos online. As a frequent traveler, I’d rate this place 3 out of 5 stars. I was very underwhelmed & feel mislead. Won’t be returning to TRS resorts. Disappointing experience.

The room service it’s really terrible, you call the phone and never answer and I payed the more expensive room area I’m really disappointed with that hotel. All the staff have to go to TRS TURQUESA PUNTA CANA to take classes how do a great job. 2 stars.

I like the fact that you are assigned a butler and they help you with all your needs during your stay. Breakfast was horrible and the pool closes too early for it to be an adults only. It’s almost like your force to get a swim up room. Ignacio Was the best!!

Had a horrible experience with a security guard by the name *ARISTI MONTERO* work after 10 pm shift in the front Gates the main entrance. put me and my wife in danger at the moment that we needed him the most he didn’t help the situation, its was a matter of life or death.. made a report the next day with th gm and we check out right away fearing from our live. Thanks for the security never will touch a Riu ever again
