On checking in, we were not told that the restaurant was closed or that the water in the room was undrinkable. When we asked about times for the restaurant, we were then told about the closure. We were given a couple of bottles of water, surely you would agree this is unacceptable

Thank you for leaving us feed back, we do not advertise food facilities due to being under refurbishment and look forward to opening up the restaurant in the near future. We do apologise for any missed communication , water was given out to guests as a safety measure as our tap water was under investigation and awaiting results this information was given to all guests and we supplied bottled water because of this to not take any risks therefore im not sure why you say that is unacceptable if you would like to contact us to discuss further , we are happy to talk further with your self.

Tired BUT clean!

Pros: Obvious house staff worked hard to keep the place clean.
Cons: All furnishings, fixtures & fittings require investment & updating.
Location: Walking distance to mainline rail station & Lakeside Shopping Mall nearby.
Hotel is in major need of investment & updating - has seen better days. HOWEVER, house staff work hard to ensure your room is clean & tidy. Ideally located near Purfleet rail station. (5min walk) - 25min to central London. If you're only wanting a place to sleep then consider this hotel as it's quiet & 'off the beaten track.'
