i think it is a smoke friendly property, i got sick after 1 min we entered the room. the bath towels were stained, no hair dryer. carpet absorbed everything, so you don't want to step on it without the shoes, its disguising. No bottled water supply, you have to drink a tap water from the bathroom faucet. we flew to the wedding this weekend, and it was so stressful to evacuate from this motel and find another hotel in no time, even though the rate on website was excellent!! i am so glad we did it. otherwise i would be so sick after one night to spend in this place! I recommend to avoid this place

Large grassy area out back for dog-walking. Check in was quick and painless. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value.

This hotel was very clean, room was spacious and staff was nice. My only complaint would that both the room and the bathroom have a small window that is completely uncovered about 5-6 feet off the ground. Literally anyone can look in at you bathing or dressing. There’s also a chair on the porch right next to the window that someone could stand on and peep in. The windows look new, why was frosted glass not used or frosted stick and peel not applied or no curtains? It would keep me from going back. Other than that a nice place to stop for the night.

Lovely grounds & playground. Older property with an interesting history, I saw signs of renovation & our bathroom was nicely redone. There is a train that comes by periodically, I noticed it in the evening, for me it was not bothersome(I heard it twice before bedtime, did not hear it at night).

Comfortable stay. It’s not high end, but it’s inexpensive and quiet for great sleeping. Would recommend for stop and go travellers on a budget.

Great for a quick night away… hard water was the only downside… you get what you pay for and what your needs are… smokers rejoice! No smoke smell in rooms as they are nonsmoking, but the chairs thoughtfully available to those of us who do was a great addition.

Location: great for Landmark College b/c super close Accommodations: if you don’t mind the 24/7 outside light blaring into your accommodations with zilch ways to block it unless you brought block-out tape, then this might not be an issue for you. Also hope that the room renter next to you doesn’t chatter incessantly until 1:30 am or later because the walls are paper thin, and you’ll hear everything. Using your pillow as an earplug is one solution. But remember, if not a chatterbot tenant, it could be the TV.

Decent over night stay, needs work.

Owners were kind and accommodating. The property sadly is shop worn and room needed a good cleaning-it was superficially clean, but needs help. Nice yard area for dogs and kids. Property is a bit run down, but neat. I did not feel unsafe. Not a bad place for just a quick over night.

Good place for a road trip layover

We stayed in Putney Inn for 1-night layover on our way to the white mountains. We had a great stay, the check-in process was quick and easy and the room was clean. Breakfast was great, with hot waffles, Yogurts, cereal, juice and fruits.

I liked that the office was open whenever i needed with someone attending. Clean eveything, nice breakfast. Close to Putney co-op which is great,Ramuntos pizza 8 mins away. Lots of gas stations and right off 91 N.

moldy and musty smelling. Overwhelming smell. Awful. We had to cancel the second night and move elsewhere. The manager made it easy for us to cancel, but I could never stay there again.
