Situated in Old Quebec, this hotel is located in the middle of town, car not necessary! Fabulous Nordic restaurant in the hotel is definitely worth giving a try!

Valet service needs vast improvement
The valet service needs vast improvement. The car park is about 100 feet before the entrance of the hotel and no valet waits outside like all other hotels. So I had to park in the street temporarily with my hazard lights on and unload, causing a backlog of drivers behind. As reception is up the stairs to the first floor I had no choice but to get there to find out where the parking lot was, no easy feat when you’ve got walking difficulties as I do. After locating the parking lot, I had to reverse up Palais to the parking lot, as there is absolutely no option to drive around the block. The entire experience was a logistical nightmare. The younger lady on reception who checked my daughter and I in was pleasant, but it was only after we checked out the next day that we discovered a cute little coffee shop by the hotel entrance. It would have been nice to have been told about this. The hotel doesn’t have a bar, or at least one that was made aware to us. The room was clean and comfy, but very small. For one night, it was suitable. We needed a late check out, and the hotel was good enough to accommodate our request, but only until 1pm. Overall it was ok, and I’d probably stay there again, as it is well located, as we come to Quebec City more often now.

Lovely hotel and great location for the old town. Be aware however when arriving by train the walk to the hotel is up a steep hill which, with heavy cases is a slog! Take a taxi.
