Great stay - better than expected
I was a little worried about this stay given some reviews, however, I loved it. I usually only give 5 stars to a hotel that's truly exceptional, but, given the room, price, location and that I had nothing bad to say about it, I gave 5 here. I had a Studio Apt. Lake View and I have no idea if all of that room type are created equal but I had 2 floor to ceiling windows with an amazing view of the lake. Room was big and while I didn't expect to use the kitchen, it ended coming in handy for leftovers...loved the washer/dryer (which was the main reason I booked this room). I paid what I thought was a great price considering prices at other hotels in QT. Great location - 5-10 min walk into city center. I had breakfast at the hotel which was good, staff were all nice and I was able to check in early which was a real bonus. Would definitely recommend at least for a similar room type.

House keeping was terrible. They never made beds properly or cleaned the washroom fully. There was no body wash for shower when we arrived. We had to wait until the next morning. The housekeeping had to be reminded to refill stock of tea bags and creamer. We were not impressed with the property. The location was excellent rhough.

Queenstown Gem
The Ramada Queenstown Central is a modern hotel with a good restaurant and bar, The room was immaculate with good bed and shower, and also washing machine and dryer. It is within walking distance of the CBD, Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel

Everything was great with the property. Clean, maintained, nice staff. My only complaint is the bed which has been an issue with NZ hotels. The king bed is just two beds pushed together. However, The queen bed are fine.

The staff were great and the room had a view of the lake. The hotel has a bar/ restaurant so you can get food drink and coffee. Bus stops are very close and using the Bee card makes travel cheap.

We got a great room - high ceilings and large footprint. It even had a clothes washer and drier, along with a good sized refrigerator, cooktop and microwave. All in great shape and super helpful to have for our stay of a few days!
