Hunter Hideaway Farm - accommodates 2 to 8 guests.

The cottage is solely occupied by your party.

$400 for 2 people and $90 for each extra person per night.

The cottage is 15 minutes from the heart of the vineyards. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size bed plus 1 single bed in each room and one double sofa bed upstairs in the lounge area, sleeping a maximum of 8 people.

The outdoor spa is absolutely luxurious and will ease away all the aches and stresses of modern day living. We welcome you to use the Spa whenever you wish.
Professionally Laundered linen is provided.

A lovely getaway
Vicki and Roger's place was so beautiful, peaceful and homey. My friend and I thorougly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and stocked everything we needed. The sunset over the field and backdrop was stunny. Fantastic hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Had a great stay and our daughter especially loved the horses who are very friendly. The accommodation was lovely and made for a great home away from home. Vicki was lovely and very caring providing assistance when required.

Peaceful and relaxing
Hubby and I really enjoyed our stay in this property surrounded by trees and farmland. The house was modern and very well equipped with lots of homely touches. There are just 2 small things to be aware of, neither of which will stop us from going back: No wifi. The main house is right next to the property, which I wasn't expecting. The upstairs, where the living area is, still feels quite private but the hot tub is on their back veranda and so I didn't feel comfortable to use it despite the owners encouragement that it wouldn't bother them.

We had a lovely time. The property was quiet , clean and tidy . It would have been nice to know they didn’t supply firewood beforehand but we were happy to collect our own. Hot tub is awesome .

The perfect escape from city life
This secluded location was a perfect retreat from the business of the day-to-day. The view of the property was phenomenal, with beautiful sunrises and night skies. The facilities are simple, clean and easy to use which is perfect for a long weekend away. The hosts were extremely accommodating, mowing a path for us to walk to the dam and giving us carrots to feed the horses. They also provided amazing suggestions for wine tours and restaurants which contributed to the amazing experience

Lovely peacful stay in the bush
We had a great time here. My son loved visiting and feeding the horses. We all enjoyed an afternoon spa. It is in the bush, but only 10 min away from Cessnock for supplies and 30 min to the main wineries for a nice lunch. It was lovely in the afternoons sitting out on the top deck watching the cows and kangaroos in the paddocks and enjoying a BBQ or pizza in the pizza oven on the deck. The only very minor downsides are -the entry is right next to the main house, with the spa actually on the veranda which is shared with the main house, but it still felt private as the hosts don't use that side of the house at all, so we never felt like we were intruding or visa versa. - the spiral staircase up to the living and kitchenette area is quite steep and narrow. My knees aren't great, so it wasn't ideal for me and it made carrying things upstairs a little tricky, but it would be completely fie for most people. The bedrooms were downstairs, so you don't need to take any luggage up the stairs

Peaceful retreat
Lovely countryside location with gorgeous views - the added touches like the hot tub, bbq, and pizza oven were lovely. The spacious living room, comfy seating, and blankets (useful even in high summer to keep off the air con breeze) were appreciated. A larger/second fridge upstairs and more work surface would be useful, especially when having to use the plug-in hob unit and/or toaster, plus there were no scissors and only one small saucepan to use. An aspect that would have made our stay even better was if there were chairs on the side/bedroom balcony (to use with the table), some seating on the grass next to the fire pit, and perhaps some sun loungers/relaxing chairs to use (as the upright seating - other than the single swing chair - was the only option). Vicki and Roger as hosts were really lovely and good with communication, and we would recommend / stay again. Thank you.
