Your biggest decision will be whether to float in the sparkling salt water pool, relax on your private deck nestled in the woods, or hike the nearby trails. Hang out and cook in your fully-equipped kitchen, grill steaks on your private deck, or go into Raleigh to experience all the amazing delights the city has to offer.

Just tell us how we can make your stay perfect! We look forward to meeting you!

With two bedrooms, a sofa, and available air mattresses, our apartment can accommodate your whole family! We typically host up to 4 adults and 2 children, and you can add 2 more by booking an optional 3rd bedroom downstairs off the pool deck. We have plenty of parking, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the AC is super cool! Ceiling fans in every room keep the constant island breezes flowing all around you.

Your private guest house is located next to our home, and we take Southern Hospitality very seriously! We can stock the refrigerator for you if you would like, set the hot tub to your preferred temperature, and with a little notice, even pick you up from the airport! Laundry service is often available with a little prior planning as well.

Our German Shepherd Sadie loves to share her big fenced back yard and she loves to host your fur-babies, showing them all the great spots to sniff, and sharing her favorite balls to chase.

Enjoy your two bedroom upstairs apartment with, lots of natural light, beautiful view overlooking the pool and hot tub, and well equipped kitchen (pretty much any appliance you might need while away from home, blender, coffee maker, crock pot, etc).

Brand new deck with seating area, and propane grill. Umbrella available for shade if desired. Feel free to sit out on the deck and enjoy your cozy home away from home.

Fenced in backyard perfect for visiting puppers.

Any accommodation within our power is yours. Just tell us how we can make your stay perfect! We look forward to meeting you!

Guests are welcome to enjoy the attached private family pool and jacuzzi hot tub. Lounge by the pool and relax while sipping a cold beverage and soaking up some rays!!

Outdoor fire pit available for evening enjoyment of 'Smores, or just the warmth.

Other things to note
there are 2 bedrooms, and a big sofa, we also have air mattresses that can be inflated for the living room.

The apartment is most comfortable with up to 4 adults, and up to 2 children. If you have more than this let us know, we may offer your group a 3rd (separate) bedroom downstairs off the pool deck for an additional fee per night.

Quiet hours from 11 pm until 9 am are very important. Guests are welcome to enjoy the hot tub and pool deck until 11pm unless other arrangements have been made in advance. (Translation: If you are quiet and respectful, enjoying an evening by the pool after 11 is not out of the question. :-) )

Lovely place with accomidating hosts

My daughter, dog, and I stayed here for the weekend. The communication with the hosts was so nice and accommodating. The property was clean and everything that you needed was available. It suited our needs perfectly and is in a nice, safe neighborhood. Even though the weather was wet, our dog was still able to enjoy the pool! Thank you for being so accommodating!

Warm & Welcoming

What a perfect place for a family (including dogs!) to stay and feel like you’re at home. Tracie & Jay were very welcoming, warm, friendly, and accommodating - multiple times asked if there was anything we needed and encouraged us and our dog to use their pool/hot tub. We really felt like they wanted us to stay and enjoy the space to its fullest. The home was extremely clean and well maintained and such a bonus to have tons of bath and poo towels and plush cozy blankets - no shortage of linens! The DVD wall (so many!!) was also a wonderful touch. We were extremely happy with our stay and look forward to coming back!

Amazing North Carolina & 4th Birthday Trip!!!!!

Where can i start? From the day we booked the ownwrs contacted us withba warm greetings! The 2 days before and the entire trip, the owners Tracie and Jay stayed in contact with us. The place was immaculate & beautiful. The kids loved the pool & hot tub and guess the color of the pool at night. Their favorite was Rainbow night! The owners niece and her pups were amazing while the owners traveled. Anytime we needed anything, or even just a suggestion for where to eat or go with the kids, Jay, Tracie, and Bridget were there. My kids loved the owners German shepherds and playing ball. Evweyone was nice, sweet and accommodating that my kids didn't want to leave. I promised we will be back and they are already excited to go! My son had an amazing 4th birthday in NC. One he will remember. My daughter was a mermaid with the pool and loved the little mermaid toys and My son the little animal figures, Tracie told them to take back. They both said they received a memory. We look forward to rebooking If you want an amazing space, wonderful hosts, beautiful stars at night, quiet in the evening, and in the middle of most anywhere, best owners to hang with and dogs, with a beautiful pool and hot tub, this is your place!

Very attentive hosts

Most of my hosted stays have not had hosts on property. It was delightful to interact with our hosts daily and they were very communicative on all things regarding the rental. The pool area was a real highlight for my kids and we were lucky to have the perfect weather to enjoy it everyday during our stay. Everything we needed was provided - highly recommend!

When we first arrived, we were greeted by owners who showed us how to get in. Then told us if we needed anything to just ask them. Including spices from the kitchen or what not. The place is nice and cozy and comfortable. It was very well maintained and super clean.

Above and beyond our expectations!!! Owners are amazing and then on top of that met every request we had. They even let our dogs out to run around and enjoy the property too while we were at an NC State football game. 5 Stars all the way and know where we are staying when in Raleigh or any surrounding area.

We stayed here during a wedding. It was clean, lots of space, had everything you would need. We brought our two pitbulls and they were welcomed with open arms. It’s hard to find a place that accepts all dogs, well behaved dogs esp when they are a bully breed. They have the sweetest pups too. We used the pool, which was beautiful. They offered the spa but we had lots of obligations so unable to make time to use it but nice to have the offer. This was our first time staying at a place other than a hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Would definitely love to visit again! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Our North Carolina Home

We travel to the Raleigh area from Michigan three times a year. We stay at Changes in Latitude every time. It is like our North Carolina home. It really feels like a second home to us. We love the pool, visiting with Luna and Sadie and their people are really nice too! It is nice to be able to to have our own "home" as we are visiting our son and his family. The grandkids will each spend a night with us giving us time to spend with each grandchild individually. They love swimming in the pool and their parents enjoy having them with the grandparents for a night! Staying at Changes in Latitude feels like we are at our second home.

Kids camp and mommy work week

My daughters and I had a hectic schedule attending 2 separate camps, one at NC State and the other in Apex, but every afternoon we looked forward to the pool at the property and our last night enjoyed dinner by the pool. I mostly enjoyed having Tracie and Jay at the house on the property because I was not familiar with the area when I booked the reservation and I felt like my family and belongings were safe with them being on site. Even though they were next door, they were close enough if we needed anything and very hospitable during our entire weeklong stay. In addition to the 2 bedroom fully furnished apartment with a kitchen, they have a separate 1 bedroom queen bed unit in the back as well. Very impressive owners and property. We will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to the area to enjoy the amenities and camaraderie.

Awesome Place!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property, Tracie, Jay, Sadie & Luna. We have never stayed at a place that was so beautiful and accommodating. My husband, myself and our 2 dogs could not have been more comfortable. We had everything we needed, the apartment was perfect and immaculately clean. I just can’t say how much we appreciate their hospitality! They excelled in making sure our every need was met. We will for sure stay here again. Our North Carolina Home

We stayed at Changes in Latitude July of 22 when we come to North Carolina to visit our son and his family. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked a second stay over New Years for a return visit. Our second stay was as great as the first and are planning another stay this spring From the fully supplied kitchen to the amazing pool and hot tub everything is top notch. The hosts are extremely accommodating from leaving out pool toys for our grandkids to turning on the hot tub when I send a text. Nothing like a hot tub to celebrate the New Year. I highly recommend Changes in Latitude as the place to stay. It’s our North Carolina home when we come visit family.

Perfect spot for our family of four

We loved our stay at Changes in Latitude. It was very clean and had everything we needed in terms of linens and kitchen items. Our kids LOVED that there was a hot tub and pool. We visited mid-October so the pool was chilly, but my husband and kids went back and forth between the pool and hot tub. (I stuck to the hot tub, personally!) Jay and Tracie are great hosts and were very responsive to messages before and during our stay. Their place was a great "home base" for us as we explored Raleigh for a few days. Totally recommend! We hope to stay there again on our next trip to NC.

Awesome Hosts & Property!!! Pool & Hot Tub is Perfect!!! Fenced in Yard!

First, Jay & Tracie were absolutely wonderful hosts. They were always reaching out every day and throughout the day if you needed anything. If you did, they were always getting you what you needed, if it was paper supplies, doing your laundry, or recommendations for places to eat. They did not treat you like clients but more like family. We really felt like it was home as they gave us our space but interacted with us to talk about the day and other crazy clients that had stayed at their property. The apartment is perfect for a small family. There are two bedrooms. One has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a full size bed. The bathroom is plenty big for getting ready. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need for cooking. Sitting area is good with plenty of movies to watch as they have tons of DVD's to choose from. There is a small deck outside the front door to sit & relax but the road traffic is little noisy but didn't bother us. We had a great time walking around their development everyday as it was nice to see the beautiful homes that Raleigh has to offer. There are some great parks near by for hiking as loved to explore new places. They have two wonderful dogs (Sadie and Luna). Our dog Oreo had a blast playing with Luna almost every day. The property is fenced in so the dogs can enjoy running around the yard or hanging out with you at the pool & hot tub so you didn't have to worry about them wondering off while you were enjoying the pool. Tracie & Jay would be more than happy to fill the hot tub and warm it up to your liking at any point of the day with a simple text message to them. Couldn't ask for better service than that!!! My son had a great time playing ball with the dogs and hanging out with Jay. Conclusion, you couldn't ask for anything better than this property. You will not be disappointed with booking your stay at Changes in Latitudes. As I said, Jay & Tracie are two wonderful people and would do anything for you to make your stay at their place perfect. You will not be disappointed so give them a shot if you are going to Raleigh, NC. We definitely will be back!!!

Our new home away from home

We visit our son and his family in North Carolina two or three times a year. Changes in Latitude is going to be our new home away from home for our future visits. The kitchen is well equipped and we used the grill nearly every day. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The pool is awesome. The grandchildren came over every day to swim!! Sully and CoCo really enjoyed their welcome note and basket from Sadie and Luna. We really appreciated the attention to detail! There is nothing they Jay and Tracie do not think of when it comes to hosting. They are such gracious people who make you feel so welcome. They treat you like visiting family and not renters.
