Not a vacation but we felt at home
I had to travel to Duke hospital with my mom, so she could receive 5 radiation treatments, so this trip was not a vacation. However, I was able to find a place close to the hospital, that allowed me to bring my fur baby with us. The host was easy to communicate with, got back to me in a timely manner, and checked in with us, throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. We didnt receive my mother's schedule for her week of radiation treatments, until her first day. However, we ended up not needing to stay as long as I initially planned. I communicated this with the host and we were able to leave a day early, and get refunded for that night. The only down side was that I thought the back yard was fenced in, and there weren't many tvs in the rental. Other than that, we had a great stay and would book again if we need to be back in that area, whether its for a vacation or not.
