Come experience the easy living of a tiny house. You will love everything about this custom-built tiny home. Every touch is personal and thought out from the hand-made queen bed to the fully stocked kitchen, a dedicated workspace, and even a loft with room for extra sleeping! Enjoy the fenced-in yard equipped with a fire pit. Just minutes from well known 9th Street and all its shopping and restaurants! A short drive to downtown Durham, this lovely home meets all your needs!


The space
To enter home there are 3 steps.

Living room- Sofa and two chairs, 60" smart TV

Kitchen-Fully stocked, all new appliances.

Bedroom- Custome queen bed with storage. Workspace

Bathroom- Full bathroom with shower.

Stackable washer and dryer.

Loft space- with twin bed and workspace. Please note you take 11 steps up built-in ladder to access the loft area.


*YMCA Access: We have worked it out with the YMCA that our guests can use their facilities for free for up to 7 consecutive days. Enjoy multiple pools, gyms, tennis courts, racquetball courts, etc. You can use the YMCA’s in Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham.


Guests have access via a lock box, code will be sent to you the day before your arrival.

Lovely Durham neighborhood less than a mile to 9th street the hidden gem of Durham, enjoy shopping in local small businesses and grab some delicious food in some of Durhams best restaurants. Also located close to Walltown park and Recreation Center with a great playground for kids. Minutes from all Downtown has to offer. Easy access to all major highways, I-85, I-40 and 147.

HOUSE RULES
-Two cars allowed maximum

-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

-Pets are NOT allowed at this property. There is a $400 fine for unapproved/undisclosed pets.

-Parties: We do NOT allow parties. If you have a special event or gathering request, we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. If there is evidence that a non-approved party/gathering has been thrown, you will be assessed an extra cleaning fee up to $500.

-Overnight Guests: Please make sure you enter the accurate overnight guest count when booking. As you can imagine, when 1-2 people spend the night, the wear and tear on the house is far less than when additional guests are in the house. Although this property can sleep more than 2 guests, the base price is for 2 people. There is a $15 per night price increase for each additional guest staying in the house over 2 people (the exception is for infants under 12 months.) Putting in your accurate overnight guest numbers PRIOR to booking will ensure you can see what the correct price will be for your stay.

-Visitors: We are perfectly fine with you having family or friends visit you during your stay. If you are planning to have more than 2 visitors who will NOT be spending the night, please let us know. At no point can there be more people at the property than the maximum house capacity listed. (For example: if the house sleeps 8 and allows you to book for 8 people, then there can never be more than 8 people at the property – even if they are just visitors stopping by.) If this rule is not abided by, there will be a $40 fee per unapproved visitor.

-Fire/Smoke: It is a property rule that there are to be no candles, smoking, or burning of any kind in the property. This does include not having any fires in the fireplace. We charge a $200 fee if there is any indication of any form of burning/smoke in the house. (This is for the safety of our guests and to protect the property.)

-Excessive mess: If the property is left excessively dirty there will be a $100 fee for extra cleaning.

-Late check-out fee: Late check-outs are allowed only if explicitly approved.

-Guests must provide a working telephone number. If the telephone number does not work, then the reservation can be canceled without a refund.

-We will always go above and beyond for you. To that end, if you have a complaint about any aspect of the property (amenities, cleanliness, etc.) upon sharing the complaint to us or you vrbor authorizing us to come into the property to fix it. (We will always attempt to call you before entering to fix the problem.)

-Locals must contact the host before booking.

-Any house rules broken are grounds for immediate cancellation of reservation and departure from the property without refund.

Note: For Security Deposits, VRBO collects these funds and returns them to you if the property is not damaged. As the host we do not receive these funds.

Great Quiet Home close to everything.
House was great. Our first time in a tiny home and it was plenty of room for us. Our daughter enjoyed the loft space and we had a great visit to the Durham area. Nice welcome binder with good information on local spots. Will definitely return and rent here again on future trips to area. The house was great, well appointed and very quiet. Next trip will be longer and will enjoy the outdoor space and deck of property. Don’t hesitate to book here.
