It didn’t look like the floor has been vacuumed and my child found all sorts of stuff on the floor. It is a good location from all the places we wanted to visit. It was a bit noisy with other guests moving around upstairs. The staff was very friendly.

We had not realised that there were 2 sites - cabins where you checked in & had breakfast, the other the lodge/motel across a main road. The reception was on an island between 2 carriageways. In order to get breakfast we had to drive from the lodge a distance of 1/4 mile via 2 main roads. What a pain!

I usually dont let reviews but I felt this property desired one. We rented the 10 person cabin with king bed. It was gorgeous, clean, quiet, and so easy accessible to the highway to go to Mt rushmore, Custer, and all other attractions. We so enjoyed our stay with them. The owners were very nice and had a cute breakfast each morning with cookies bread selections coffee and tea.

It was fine. Clean and comfortable. People were smoking on the porches and at the foot of the steps. The breakfast is lacking any protein. If you are on the second floor you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs.
