Great Experience
Our family has been making an annual trip to the Badlands/Black Hills for 8 years now and stayed in various cities in the area and we were very happy with the location, in relation to area attractions it was more than convenient. From the outside you might under estimate the cabins but we were very pleased with the open space, the decor and cleanliness. The parking located just to the side of the cabin was very helpful with young kids. The splash pad was a great trade off for the pool offered at most accommodations. Having multiple kids we found it more appealing to go to the splash pad, not to mention the small playground located just a few feet away. The only downside I would mention was the extremely limited availability of ice on site, although I understand that someone in the past may have abused them offering ice in greater qualities. We are home now just 48 hours and already talking about trying to book with them again next year. Give them a chance and I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

This cabin was great for our family of 6. The pack and play was clean for our little guy. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to see in the area. It had basic necessity for kitchen supplies and a gas grill outside for grilling. The owners were very nice and the shop had everything needed if you forgot something including s’mores packages and wine and beer along with a small breakfast for the mornings. Would highly recommend if staying in South Dakota! The only minor inconvenience was the tub drain didn’t plug for a bath for our 1 year old but we made it work.

Amazing place to stay!
Me and my husband stayed at this location for one night. The front desk service was great! The rooms were VERY clean and well equipped. They had kitchen with pots, silverware, etc. The beds were also very comfy. Great place for a long or short stay!

Second floor room, with no elevator was inconvenient and difficult to manage. The kitchen was convenient; however, there was no table in the room. TV trays were provided in lieu of a table. Their beakfast choices consisted of cold and hot cereals, english muffins, toast, brownie bites, juice and coffee.

Very nice size room with kitchenette. Comfortable bed and pillow. My complaint is lodge is across highway from the checkin and breakfast place. So you have to drive and crossing the highway is dangerous due to room and lack of view for on coming traffic.
