This home sits on the sandy shore of the Torch Lake sandbar. This modern 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home will sleep up to 10 people. Very comfortable, beautiful lake and sunset views. Walk into the shallow end of Torch Lake and swim in the crystal clear water. Or, bring your boat (or rent one at a local marina) and enjoy all the Lower Chain of Lakes have to offer. The Lower Chain of Lakes consists of Torch Lake, Torch River, Lake Bellaire, Grass River, Clam Lake, Clam River, Lake Skegemog, and Elk Lake providing 61 miles of waterways to enjoy. Open floor plan, large kitchen with plenty of counter space. Central air to make it comfortable. This home is for rent to families with children.
If you would like to take some time to explore the area Alden, Bellaire and Elk Rapids offer unique shops and great dining options. If you are into wines, the area has an abundance of wineries and tasting rooms to check out, or if that is not your thing, the area also has many craft breweries including Short's in both Bellaire and Elk Rapids. Want to venture further afield? Check out the Sleeping Bear Dunes to the west or head north to Mackinaw City where you can cross the Mackinaw bridge and explore some of the upper peninsula. Or, take a ferry over to Mackinac Island and ride bikes around the island where no cars are allowed!. Empire and Mackinaw City are just over an hour's drive in different directions. Whatever your pleasure, this home is a great place to stay and be able to enjoy all that northern Michigan has to offer.
