The house was obviously decorated with love and care, and provides many rooms with varied sleeping arrangements to accommodate family groups with varying ages. Our older guests appreciated the bedrooms on the main floor, while the kids loved having an area to themselves on the lower level. The bedroom in the separate building was great for family who needed more quiet time. We really loved the scenic view of the dock and the lake, and several family members tried out paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing from the dock (you can pick up a fishing license at Walmart, which is ten-minute drive.) The house is a great central location for day trips - we visited Portland, Seacoast Adventure (15 min drive) for putt-putt/go-karts, Mountain Adventure Park in NH (hour drive but totally worth it) for their mountain coaster, zip lines, bungee trampoline, and summer tubing. There's a drive-in movie theatre a short distance away (Bridgton Twin Drive-In Theater) that shows movies Fri-Sun nights, and two ice-cream shops. The pool was unusable for a few days of our stay as the water level was too low for proper filtration/chemical balance, but we were an early-season stay, so kinks do pop up. I know the owners are working diligently to fix the issue. Owner communication was great; Leisa answered all of our questions quickly, and even suggested that we visit Sebago Lake State Park's beach instead of one we found online and it was PERFECT. Also love that propane is provided.
