Consider that this is a very old house as all of the houses around Olinda city center. The room I got was quite poor. Lack of ventilation, bugs everywhere, while my friends got another rooms in the same property those were way better in general terms. Just make sure you dont get the room that is connected with Beijupirá restaurant.

Staff is the best this place has to offer! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The place itself wasn’t my favorite. Very dark with old furniture and small bedroom. The view of Recife from the dining area and our bedroom was breathtaking. After couple of days one can get used to staying there but I won’t be returning.

Lovely accomodation, prime location, friendly and welcoming staff! We would definitely recommend and stay there again. The room was beautiful all very clean and comfortable. The friendly reception staff speaks English, there's an excellent in house restaurant and breakfast also deserves top marks.

go to the pousada cuatro caminos instead
This pousada was dirty and mosquito infested. The manager is kind and helpful but the other front of house staff are peculiar - we had a very strange welcome.

Voltaremos com certeza!
Excelente pousada, no coração da cidade. Ficamos em um quarto (varadouro) que o banheiro não era tão legal, porém solicitamos para mudar para o Farol e fomos atendidos. A partir disso, nossa experiência foi perfeita, além de um excelente café da manhã.
