The property is aging and shows a little bit of wear and tear. Room was clean, however carpet was well worn. It seemed a little difficult to have the staff understand concerns. ** Major concern** The Smoke Detector was cover tightly with a towel - Dangerous Environment. The television was not working properly - when mentioned to staff they seemed aware of the problem, suggested a room change, however, if they were aware of it, then why put us in this room? The toilet tended to run on after flushing and twice we had to get up to deal with it. Stay was not up to the standards we were expecting. Won't stay in any of these hotels in the chain again, there are better options.

Stayed at this location many times but unfortunately this will be my last. I've always seen this hotel as a nice little money saver where you get more than you pay for but that's no longer the truth with these new owners. My room itself has been renovated recently but the overall cleanliness is subpar no privacy placard no stopper for the tub and all of the cleaning products are used and three quarters empty. The toilet paper is one ply and so thin that you literally need to ball it up to make sure that it doesn't dissolve in your hand. Bedding and bathroom cleanliness was satisfactory however that all gets forgotten as soon as you walk out into the main hallways the carpet badly needs to be replaced and that there's visual stains and an odor smell when you enter the stairwell on the west side of the hotel you're overcome with the unmistakable smell of urine. With the standards this hotel will not be around much longer it's a shame because it once was my favorite place to stay in Regina as an underrated gem the devil is in the details and the details show that they are on their last legs with money and are unwilling to invest in the basic necessities to make a hotel worth staying at. On my way out front reception couldn't be bothered to look up from their phone to see that I was leaving and ask about my stay.
