Good Property - Hospitality needs improvement
The property itself is alright. The hospitality could really use some improvement. The room: nice, charming, and clean. The location: close to nearly everything. Hospitality: instructions state that you have until 5 PM to check in. We planned to relax on the beach that day until 4PM. We don't get a lot of time away and wanted to make the most of our trip. At 1:48 PM, there was a voicemail on my phone from the property (the owner) asking about our arrival time. I called back and was told everyone else had already checked in and she was waiting for us so she could go home. This was frustrating. If you don't want to work your stated hours, then maybe don't go into the hospitality industry? I politely explained that we were planning to arrive around 4 in order to enjoy our time at the beach. We arrived earlier than that because there is an advertised "happy hour" at the property. When we asked about it, she said no one came (on the dot at 4pm), so she didn't put it out. You expect people to be lining up at the door ahead of time for an advertised amenity?! Had I known this, we would not have left the beach early. They ask guests to book direct with them and not use third-party websites because it costs them a commission and they feel this isn't fair. They do not offer any type of discount for doing this, so I won't (I get rewards with hotels.com). Overall, the room was fine, but management's approach really dampened what was supposed to be a much-needed, restful holiday.

Room was beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. It’s quite loud though given its proximity to a nightclub. The heating unit also was inconsistent in its ability to put out heat. The shower was extremely inconsistent as well. One minute it’s hot, the next it’s burning you or freezing - all on its own doing. No adjustments from me.

The only reason I did not give a 5 star is housekeeping did not check drawers and I was left with jeans and dirty under wear where I needed to put clean clothes (gross) brought this to staff attention next morning and was basically blown off no apology. Also very small room only single path to walk around and in front of bed. More of a 1 person suite. Other than that 5 star cleaning, fridge, microwave and space to hang a few garments not a closet. I would stay again but choose a bigger space. Unable to comment on breakfast. Nice boutique hotel. Nice Beach theme.

Good proximity to Rehoboth downtown. Decent no frills motel. No one was on site for checkin. Had to call to get a lockbox code to get the key to our room. No closet space in room. No hot water in the BR sink. No tea or stirrers in room. Wondering what “included breakfast” will be like. I booked it seeing it was an Expedia VIP but should have done my homework. Very disappointing but here for 1 night so it’s ok I suppose.

Best deal in Rehoboth - Super nice place to stay
Super nice place a little bit of a walk from downtown (about 15 to 20 minutes) but don’t let that stop you from staying there. The value is the best in town with very friendly staff. Happy hour there is anwesome and very enjoyable. Conch Island and Diego’s are a very short walk away and perfect to end the night. It’s my go to place in Rehoboth for sure!!

The property is lovely. You can tell how much the owners love their property. We stayed in room 11. No issues, very clean and quiet. The conversations with the owners and other guest during the reception and breakfast were very nice. We look forward to staying here again in the future. The property is an easy 1 mile walk to the beach. Numerous places to eat, drink, and shop at all within walking distance. You will not regret your stay here.

The only complaint was the bed was not as comfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on an old bed that squeaked a lot every time I moved. The bed felt worn out. Otherwise, everything else was good.

The manager was quite friendly. This is a cozy setup that feels more like a bed & breakfast. There are personal touches everywhere. The only watchout is the ceiling height in the bedrooms. Loved the beach chairs, carts available for use. Overall, a lovely place to crash while visiting the beach.
