We stayed at Aegean View for two weeks, in Stavromenos. We came with two kids, ages 13 and 11. It was an excellent stay. It's a new hotel and the owner and staff were very responsive to our needs. The pool is very nice, the breakfast is perfect, lots of fruit, delicious eggs, ham and cheese, etc. Air conditioning worked well in the room which is crucial for a July vacation in Crete. Lots of parking and we rented a car and drove all around Crete. One big bonus was that it was just 10 minutes from downtown Rethymno and we were happy we didn't stay IN Rethymno, it's gotten too crowded, difficult to navigate and impossible to park. It's must easy to stay just outside of Rethymno. It is 2 minutes walk to a small beach but there are so many gorgeous beaches in Crete, we didn't really spend time at the beach outside of our hotel which is a little rocky. Overall a fantastic stay and happy to recommend.

We hadden een kamer met zee uitzicht geboekt en nu keken we de tuin in. Er was iets van een klein keukentje aanwezig maar erg vies en totaal geen bestek, glazen, borden of pannen aanwezig. Kamer werd nauwelijks tot niet schoon gemaakt. om schone handdoeken en beddengoed moesten we vragen. hangkast zonder kleding hangers. ontbijt was erg karig en minimaal.

Le problème principal de la chambre familiale 102 : vétuste et manque de propreté. Points à améliorer : - rénover les sols - Proposer un coin cuisine ou salon qui ne ressemble pas à une salle d’attente et y inclure des couverts. - Mettre une paroi de douche à la place du rideau sale. - Mettre à disposition un séchoir à linge à l’extérieur - Installer des patères dans la salle de bain car rien pour poser ses vêtements et un petit tabouret ou une tablette pour poser la trousse de toilette. - Petit déjeuner sommaire : froid et peu réapprovisionné. Points positifs : - piscine bien entretenue avec des chaises longues et Wc - Un extérieur sympa - Gestes commerciales car les caractéristiques de la réservation n’ont pas été respectées
