We had the family studio with private attached bathroom for our family of 3 adults. Extra sofa bed was nicely made up upon arrival. Everything is good with full kitchen facilities. Generous supply of coffee capsules and various tea bags were provided. Room was a little cold for the 2 nights stay in Oct though as heat was centrally controlled. Would be nice if it could be warmer. Other than this we had a comfortable stay. Recommended for family/group.

Loved being in a quiet local neighbourhood. Perfect location to walk the entire city. Full kitchen for use and lovely Ingo has smoothies for guests each morning, as well as tea/coffee and cakes. Shared bathroom was manageable as there is one on each floor. Being a light sleeper, I could hear comings and goings of other guests. Overall, a lovely homey feel while you’re away from home.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I got a small room, and it was perfect for just me. Fellow guests were considerate regarding noise and sharing the bathroom, which was a great size. Ingo was helpful and kind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Freyja. The suite was comfortable, and we especially loved the view room, where we spent much time reading our books. It's conveniently located to many attractions we wanted to visit in Reykjavik. Several museums are within walking distance of the guesthouse. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Iceland.

I liked that Freyja Guesthouse offers twin rooms, great for solo travelers. Very convenient to the bus station, Reykjavík airport, shopping & attractions. The viewing room on the top floor was a peaceful place to relax, and the guest kitchen with complimentary Nespresso and breakfast smoothie was an awesome amenity!
